TWO TOMORROWS THEY/THEM

One of the eldest of their local group.

Original design incorporated a lot of knowledge on purposed organisms, intending for them to find a biological solution to The Great Problem, back when the Ancients were convinced the great Cycle could be escaped by finding how the "soul" was attached to the body.

When the mindset shifted from the biological changes to the use of void fluid, they were used less and less for their original purpose. For many cycles, they were simply used to help design and better purposed organisms- including other iterators.

When the Ancients disappeared, they occupied themselves by continuing this trend. They continued to create purposed organisms, such as Pipecleaners, Skyhauls, and Gardeners.

Gardeners are their favorite creation. They're large, cincipedal creatures that TT uses to interact with the world around them- mostly, by gardening. Their entire metropolis has been converted into a massive plane called the Sprawling Garden.

The Sprawling Garden, true to it's name, is a gigantic jungle of plants and animals contained on top of TT's can. Most of these organisms are ones of TT's own making- but many of the local flora and fauna has found it's way up there, including a variety of lizards, vultures, and even a clan of scavengers. TT doesn't mind these hitchhikers... so long as they respect the Garden.

However, despite their almost obsessive interest in being able to observe and interact with the world around them, they tend to shut themselves away from other Iterators... especially since many find them offputting, in the way they view the world. Many claim they've 'abandoned' their true purpose, and view other iterators almost the same as the other organisms that reside in their garden.

hihi @buoyantinnature im not sure how many submissions im allowed but i have two more slugcats for the collab colony!! the mischievous (i spelt it wrong in the image sjdhfjfbf) and the watcher :3

the mischievous is a slugcat who mainly steals from scavengers for resources (bombs, explosive / electric spears, pearls etc.). they’re very sneaky, but one day the scavs found out and then tried to kill them many times. they then found the colony and decided to join! they’re mainly a meat eater as well. they r a terrestrial sluggy :3 not reallu going in water much

the watcher is a purposed slugcat who was created for the purpose of delivering pearls between iterators, hence the wings. the wings on their head are mainly decorative but also to show emotion in a way. they are a quick slugcat but primarily fly around more than walk to avoid predators and environmental hazards (worm grass, large bodies of water, etc.). they have a diet of anything, but prefer lizards the most. their wings give them an advantage, the advantage being avoiding predators and being able to strike from above to attack lizards for food. so basically a carnivore lol

they found the colony after a journey to deliver a Pearl and decided to live there for the rest of their life.

Oh dear! It appears they’ve found a scavenger toll without realising! Someone needs to get them before they end up skewered!

The Luminous joined the colony during one of her travels between cave networks. She was treated for an injury by the colony, which further convinced her to trust the local slugcats and stay around

She doesn't go out much during daytime and is usually inside nearby caves and darker areas. She goes out in the open during dusk and dawn to travel, scout and collect things

Luminous's combat ability is average (similar to Survivor's spear throw damage and she cannot maul), but her crawling and climbing speed is faster than normal

She can change her bioluminescent parts to any color, while her skin still maintains a very dark tone despite hue change. Because of this, the predators usually avoid her, thinking she's too toxic to eat, but this tactic doesn't work on blind predators like Black lizards (whom the Luminous despises encountering)
