Colette in Rosy (Love story)
From 2017
Name: Colette von Muguet 19th May (born 1980), 37 years old
Giovanni's mother
Married to Mr Blackwood 1st June 2000 Sadly he passed away 8 years ago in a traffic accident When Colette was younger she used to sing and play instruments. She took private lessons from the age seven to nineteen. Her instruments were guitar, piano and the cello. She was a very curious child, thus to why she after some time decided to pick up more instruments. Like anyone else she was awful in the beginning, but became easily immersed and practiced lots. She owned two cellos, a guitar and the family had a piano. Around thirteen years old, she stumbled upon the genre rock. She soon fell in love with it, and discovered bands she came to cherish. She collected CDs, which she listened to the stereo in her room or outside with a CD carrier and earphones. She liked to play the songs on her own instruments while singing with a big smile on her lips. She began to go on concerts for local bands or singers, at first she felt a little uncomfortable being by herself in the crowds but then as time went on she didn't mind at all. When she was a kid she used to write her own music, pretty melodies with silly lyrics. As a teenager old her writing had became better, and the music was rock with a classic and jazz twist.
At fourteen she finally met other people that enjoyed rock too. Basically her friends grew, and slowly she found herself in a group of people she held close. They talked about various things, went to clothing shops, flea markets, amusement parks, gardens and cafes. They exchanged CDs, had discussions, spent time at each other's places, went to concerts, and so on. They became very close. As a fifteen year old, she and a few of her friends started a band. Aside from covers they made their own music. Vincent, Mirabelle, Colette, Nathaniel and Harry. Colette wrote the music, along with Vincent, and Mirabelle joined in on the lyrics part. Harry played the drums, Nathaniel on bass, Vincent on guitar, Mirabelle on keyboard, Colette on cello. Mirabelle and Colette both on vocals. They practiced at Mirabelle's place, down in the basement where they fixed it as their cosy studio. They decided that on the anniversary of the band forming they would finally perform, they were a part of a concert with other unknown bands for beginners. They played three original songs, and they left behind the stage with a roaring audience. They became, among others, the talk of the town. And slowly they became professionals. They scored a contract with an agency, a manager and a real studio to practice in. By the time Colette was sixteen, their band "Neptune" came out with a debut album with eight songs, the title "Planets". Their band had an alternative clothing style. They never told their last names, but let their first names go public. Except for Nathaniel, who used his nickname "Nate" instead. They continued to stay popular in four more years, many albums coming out throughout that period. Such as "Constellations", "Dreamland", "Silent Screaming", "Peachy", and mini albums; "Swan Princesses", "Teapot", "Cherry Tartin", "Lost Land", as well as a few singles. When Colette was nineteen the group decided to disband, due to people getting ready for university or because they wanted to pursue other dreams. Their last concert was their biggest, going through all their songs, with people screaming and crying in the audience. Colette met her husband during the last year of Neptune. When she turned nineteen, they had became great friends, meeting each other every other week when they had time. They started dating after some time, and when she was 20 they married each other. Her husband worked at an office.
She picked up her studies once again, and when Giovanni had turned four, Colette decided to study at a school with a designer program. Afterwards she started on a designer school, continuing her education in fashion. From 2009 and 2010 she had a break due to the loss of her beloved partner. Then she went studying overseas. Giovanni's grandmother and their maid took care of Giovanni during that period. Colette visited during winter holidays but also sent letters to her daughter. She finished two years later, and returned home. Earlier in her music career she had bought this small and cute building for a cheap price, and now several years later she decided to turn it into a studio. It had functioned as an overnight stay as well as a storage, and now she cleaned it all up. It became an atelier where she cut the patterns and sew the clothing. Another floor became turned into an office. The bottom floor she changed to look like salon, but that was for the time being, she had a proper plan for it. Colette opened a her shop on the bottom floor 2013, selling exclusive clothing. The shop got named "Crescent".
