“    what  ?    “      she  shakes  her  head  ,  gathering  the  other  girl  up  into  her  small  arms.  weak  ,  weak  ,  weak  !  she  can  hardly  hold  her  sister  ,  trying  to  keep  kimberly  against  her  chest  despite  shaking  and  unsteady  grip.  soft  finger  tips  are  stained  red.  this  isn’t  real  ,  this  is  the  stuff  of  her  nightmares.  she  keeps  telling  herself  that  ,  repeating  it  over  and  over  again  as  a  thumb  caresses  her  sister’s  cheek.      “    you’re  not  ...  you’re  not  dying  ,  i  won’t  let  you.    “     but  she  doesn’t  know  the  spell  to  keep  her  alive  ,  small  wounds  ?  ashlyn  can  do  them  ,  but  this  is  too  much.  a  single  tear  rolls  down  porcelain  cheeks  ,  followed  suit  by  many  more.  before  she  knows  it  ,  she’s  sobbing.

clutching  kimberly  closer  to  her  chest  ,  soft  lips  press  against  the  other’s  forehead.       “    i  love  you.  i  love  you  so  much.    “      it’s  repeated  against  kimberly’s  skin  ,  over  and  over.  did  she  say  it  enough  ?  was  it  enough  ?  does  kimberly  know  that  ashlyn  loves  her  ?      “    i’m  so  sorry  kimmy.  i’m  so  sorry  ,  it  should’ve  been  me.  i  always  mess  everything  up.  you  ...  you  were  so  good  at  this  ,  so  good.  this  is  my  fault  ,  it’s  my  fault.    “      she  pulls  back  ,  looking  at  her  twin  ,  her  other  half.  a  gentle  hand  moves  to  brush  hair  away  from  the  younger’s  face.  it  was  bound  to  happen  eventually  ,  one  of  them  losing  the  other.  but  ashlyn  is  selfish  !  she  always  has  been  ,  not  in  a  cruel  way  ,  but  in  a  way  where  she’d  risk  everything  ;  and  she’s  selfish  because  she  wish  she  would’ve  died.  she  can’t  live  alone  ,  she’s  not  good  enough  to  live  alone  ,  she  wants  to  die.  she  wants  to  die.  she  wants  to  die.

          tensions   thickened   remorselessly  between   two  deadly  souls   (   ones  that  reeked  of  cold  blooded  murders  and  nightmares  of  the  innocent   ).   it  was  a  terrible  habit  of  his,  better  yet  ..  a  decision  that  made  his  darkened  mind  tick  like  a  nuclear  bomb.  to  murder   quickly   or  to  torture  until  their  last  dying  breath  welcomed  the  angel  of  death  /  his  love  /  his  other  half   ?   this  time   ?   n  e  i  t  h  e  r.   steady  hands  reached  for  his  vixen’s  waist,  possessively.  never  once  skipping  a  beat  to  remind  her  who  she  belonged  to  and  who  truly  understood  her  thirst  for  chaos.  a  clenched  jaw  released  itself  with  a  calming  sigh  to  soon  follow.   (   relieving  tense  muscle  from  tying  their  victim  down  to  the  rusty  operation  table   ).   a  beautiful  vision,  to  say  the  least.  around  and  around,  fingers  circled  along  the  cloth  that  covered  porcelain  skin  he  constantly  yearned  for.  eyes  never  leaving  the  weakened,  bloodied  girl  who  squirmed  underneath  ropes.   (   a  gag  ball  muting  her  screams ;   a  kink  of  his,  truly   ).
