On the warm side of sake, 30 degrees Celsius is called hinata-kan [โsun-warmedโ], 40 degrees is nuru-kan [lukewarm], 50 degrees is atsu-kan [hot], and 55 degrees is tobikiri-kan [extra hot].
For lovers of cool sake, reishu [chilled sake] includes yuki-hie [โsnow-coldโ] at 5 degrees Celsius, hana-hie [โcherry-blossom-coldโ] at 10 degrees, and suzu-hie [โevening coolโ] at 15 degrees.
