Tender and flavorful ribs slow-cooked in cola and finished with a caramelized barbecue glaze.
Ingredients: 2 racks of baby back ribs. Salt and black pepper to taste. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon dried thyme. 2 cups cola cola of your choice. 1 cup barbecue sauce.
Instructions: Rub the back of the ribs with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and dried thyme. Then, take off the membrane. To fit the racks of ribs in the crockpot, cut them into smaller pieces. Put the ribs in the crock pot and cover them with cola. Put the lid on top and set the heat to low. Cook for 6 to 7 hours, or until the meat is soft and pulling away from the bones. Warm up the broiler in the oven. Move the ribs carefully to a baking sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil. Before you broil the ribs, brush them with barbecue sauce. Do this for three to five minutes, or until the sauce turns caramelized and sticky. Serve the cola ribs with your favorite sides. They will fall off the bone. Time for preparation and cooking together: about 7 hours.
