💫 A few months ago, a small collection of asks got together with me to make a community built oc who I named ‘Clarissa ‘Clara’ Richtofen.’ She’s a daughter for Richtofen that started as one ask and then snowballed into several! We came up with some hc’s together, and people still ask me about girldadtofen and little Clara now!! So, let’s actually build her this time! Once a week, I’m going to give you all a poll and if you want to participate, you can choose who Clarissa is, her background and what she looks like!✨

💫 Hello, hello, welcome in!! This is something I can absolutely assist with and I'd be delighted to!! Grab a drink, get cozy, and let's do this!! ✨

✨ So, the first thing we need to do is step inside the mind of a madman. Don't worry- It's easier than it sounds! Once we establish which qualities Richtofen would likely gravitate toward, we can start molding this little love story like clay! ✨

✨ Richtofen is a man with a very...Interesting past. He was a former member of the Illuminati and then went undercover for them and infiltrated Group 935 before backstabbing them and sticking with Maxis. Until the nazi deal, of course. Because of his past, Richtofen has always struck me as the kind of person who prioritises trust in his relationships, and I believe this is most evident in his friendship with Schuster before and after the MPD incident. Not only was Schuster the second person to know about Maxis's deal with the nazis's, but he and Richtofen arranged for building equipment and scientists (and later human sacrifices) to be sent up to the moon under Maxis's nose. That would have taken one heaping load of trust between the two of them to pull it off. If either of them made the wrong move or said the wrong things, there would have been a high chance that Maxis would have ordered them to...Defect. You can't simply walk out of Group 935.✨

✨ Richtofen also needs someone who is patient with him and tolerant of his out-of-pocket nature further down the line. Sometimes he will say things that don't make any sense, sometimes a sexual comment comes out of nowhere, and sometimes he lore drops about his own life randomly with sad glimpses into his childhood. Therefore, he would need someone who isn't driven off by 'all the crazy' that he comes with after his brush with the MPD. I don't think making a completely evil oc is the only way to tackle this, but an oc who is good by nature might be a bit of a challenge to pair with him accurately. You'd probably be better off with a morally grey oc if you didn't want to go down the pure evil route! ✨

✨ After his corruption, Richtofen is louder about putting his own fun first. He wants power and will do anything to grab for it, but it's even better if he has fun while doing so! Because of this, he sees his crew as extensions of himself to get him from A to B, which means it will be a good idea to decide on if your oc is a "yes man" for him or not. I think Richtofen wouldn't mind a challenge if he was paired with a more independant oc crew member, but I can also see him absolutely loving the fact that someone in the crew would follow him without question. He loves validation! ✨

✨Now we have that out of the way, let's look into this oc more!

✨ Regarding his lover being part of Group 935 or not, I think it would be easiest to make your oc a Group 935 scientist. That way, you have plenty of time to develop Richtofen's relationship with them, and you can also explore how their dynamic changes after Richtofen is corrupted! Though if you wanted to have an oc who wasn't part of Group 935 and joined him later, I think that's doable as well, but their relationship with Richtofen would probably take a long while to develop into love. ✨

✨ Since we know that Richtofen loves validation and values trust, I think the speed at which he falls in love would depend on how much validation this oc gives him. In Group 935, he would probably take notice of a scientist following his orders and being efficient with their work. He might test the waters by sharing a few scraps of information to see if this person is trustworthy, and keep them close once they prove that they are. He would show his love by letting them in on experiments or sharing valuable information that can't be shared with other scientists. After his corruption, this could look like your oc following him to Siberia and being by his side while he uses Group 935 equipment for his own personal projects. He might also rant to your oc about his suspicion of Dr. Harvey Yena being a spy.

✨ As for how he chases, this is fun to think about. If we assume that this oc is in Group 935, Richtofen would probably 'chase' by showing acts of trust- Things he doesn't even tell Schuster. Things about his life, about his feelings on certain choices Group 935 are making. He would also give this oc important roles in the lab, and might even send them up to the moon to work with Schuster because in his mind, Griffin Station is vitally important to build and establish. After the corruption, when Richtofen awakens the test subjects and starts fighting zombies, he would probably keep this oc close to protect them, but only them. He would probably also do acts of service, like getting them gobblegums and Perk Colas. He'd preen at their thanks and praise, emphasising that if they need anything else, they should go to HIM and not anyone else. He'd also show off, trying to impress them with stylish or risky zombie kills! Richtofen would gauge their reaction and try harder if they seemed flippant or not interested, I think.

✨ The confession wouldn't be easy, and would only come once Richtofen was SURE that he could trust this oc. Once he makes up his mind, he will lay out his plan to go to Agartha and to go up to the Moon and trade places with Samantha. He'd tell this oc that he could do it without them, but would much rather share his greatness with them instead. Letting someone in so completely would be the ultimate show of trust, love, and affection to him. If the oc refuses him at the very last step, he'd see it as the biggest betrayal of his life, and I'm not so sure it would be salvageable after that (though that's an interesting dynamic to explore.) If the oc accepts, however, nothing could separate them.
