˖ ࣪⋆˙⟡ 2025 codekissed edits: a year in review⟡˙⋆ ࣪˖ carlos alcaraz x 'dog days are over' – the intro to this is one of my fave sequences ive ever put together (like hello aura??) also 0:22....jesus christttttt. fun fact: carlos' 2025 season was so successful i had to play around to extend the audio track at the end so i could include at least 3 clips/shots from each tournament he won :’)))

fedal x 'a couple minutes' – did yall know this edit loops perfectly on purpose (if you disregard my @ at the end)...i wanted it to feel suspended in time - a moment to linger in, for just a couple minutes longer (something i think fedal wished for too <3) also did anyone catch my fave transition heheh at 0:13 the fedal hug at wimby to present day rafa's retirement hug, with roger's hand cradling the back of rafa's neck in both clips?

jannik sinner x 'landslide’ – this was my #1 played song of 2025 lmfao...but asides from that, this song is quite literally jannik. i loveee how at 0:11 he tenderly smooths a thumb over the ski goggles (oh nostalgiaaa), then it transitions to a clip of a younger, smiling janni wearing them! also 'mirror in the sky' at 0:23 as he's lifting his runner-up plates...(vaguely inspired by my beloved @bangonoscah's fic 'the winner takes it all' -> i know i know very contrasting vibes to this edit, but i was forever changed by her genius idea of using the plate as a mirror lmaoo)

sincaraz x ‘tyrant x all night’ (remix) – the flashback sequence of their various net hugs aligned with the beat is sooo deliciously satisfying to MEE. 'you stole him from me' is soo...considering how RG went...then wimby...then USO :'))) 2026 will be SO fun

sincaraz x arrival (2016) – the edit that started everything, my firstborn, my babyyyy. (genuinely wonder if i'll ever create another edit as peak as this tbhhh) truthfully i probably could've made this solely a jannik edit, given only the last 3 seconds are sincaraz :') also can i just say the tags on everyone's RBs FRIED ME so bad lmfaooo i love inflicting pain <3 bts thoughts: i tried to depict how jannik might feel pressured to be more expressive, with the media always clamouring for him to show his emotions, yet he consistently remains level-headed/internalizes it all - a trait that makes him 'unique'...but at the same time, it hints at all the what-ifs: how if he could change things, maybe he'd be different, and the relationships he could have had but maybe missed out on (except carlos. because they find each other in every universe :')))

sincaraz x call me by your name (2017) – fun fact: all the 'jannik' + 'carlos' spoken at the beginning mimicking 'elio elio elio' in the film are unique sound bites! i sourced them from diff interviews/press ranging from the beginning of their careers up until recent <3 the perfect edit for their divorce era imooo

sincaraz x 'everything is romantic' – oh yall REALLY loved this one (at the time of writing this, there are 780+ notes on this edit. that's INSANE...) also did you know...the sky footage at the beginning transitioning into the montage of their net hugs/exchanges + the sky footage at the end are actually the same shot - i just reversed the last to simulate 'time-travelling' with them to relive those moments before coming back to the present <3 imo this is also the nicest/most aesthetically shot selection of clips ive used to make an edit (wimby is a close second), s/o to the uso camera crew lmaoaoao. someone also said 'the only diff between this & official uso promo is the word "love"' sksjsksj I LAUGHED i am honoured truly!!!

sincaraz x wimbledon 2025 – my first edit without song lyrics! which really allowed me to showcase my selection of audio clips, 'in every tournament / making history with you' -> yep that sounds like sincaraz alright :') really cant wait to see how 2026 shapes up...i also tried to do a lot of compare/contrast with the jannik/carlos clips in this edit (fave prob would be 0:08 -> carlos' vamos vs jannik's roar during his match against grigor)!

sinnettini x 'david' – my first sinnettini edit ever!! (inspired by the bi-monthly dash crashout about them & my dear @sinnettini + their gorgeous matteo/jannik gif sets) the flickering back+forth between jannik's triumph and matteo's quiet, hollow resignation... ugh <3 then their hug at davis cup and how happy/smiley matteo is there...also i specifically chose to crop the novak/matteo trophy clip at 0:18 because with lorde's 'am i ever gonna love again?' over it (+ we all know what im implying with that ok sksjskj) paired with matteo saying 'i have to take some time to think about my future'...it just becomes a whole narrative

sinnettini x 'when i close my eyes' – @jansnoopy caught this heheh but my fave shot of this edit is 0:29, the contrast of the backgrounds and their silhouettes framed against it!! the way matteo turns away...the meaning of it all....also at 0:27 'a fragment of my mind' and the way matteo is clasping jannik's face yeeeeah.

toronto blue jays x 'a couple minutes' – my only non-tennis edit lmao!! made this to cope with that heartbreaking end to an insane season (not over it tbh + probably never will be). i especially loved 0:04-0:05 'when it's shared' where the clips flash from the team's pure joy to the fans going wild in the stands...honestly yeah this season was for the fans <3 so much love for this incredible group of guys :'))
