  “I can’t believe I’m going to a new school, I wasn’t ready for this change but I am now.” The deep-ish teen voice of a dark brown girl said. She ran her hands through her thick black curls with blue streaks, her brown eyes shined curiously at the invitation to her brand new school. She had already packed her bags was prepared to go. She straightened her chamois brown shirt with a white tie around the collar, dusted off her sky blue skirt, and excitedly tapped the toes of her brown boots together.

“I’m so excited to go to this new school. The school has a great reputation and all. Here I come, Canterlot High School.”

(Super big and flashy opening with amazing song and familiar characters posing dramatically. One new character pops up and poses while looking to the distance. Song ends, CHS shows front of the school.)

Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle walk through the calm halls of Canterlot High, it’s hard to believe that two years ago there was that whole fiasco at the Friendship Games. And five months ago since the battle against Frisa Blist, now things have settled back down and Twilight and Flash Sentry have gotten really close.

Since Twilight no longer goes to Crystal Prep Academy she has a new outfit Rarity made her. She wore a no sleeve mauve shadow sweater vest with a cool-grey shirt under it, and a pair of glossy purple boots to match her sweater. Her sweater had white stars on it the matched her Cutiemark hairclip.  

“So Twilight, do you have any plans after school?” Because me and the girls planned on doing some more band practice.” Sunset smiled.

“Not really, Spike and I were just going to hit the books and do some studying.” Twilight kissed Spike’s head.

“Well if you want you can come practice with us.” Sunset offered.

“Sure but I didn’t bring my mic with me today.” Twilight said apologetically.

“Its okay, the girls and I will find you one.” Sunset smiled as she and Twilight walked to the gym.

The next day the girls found out there was a new student, Principle Celestia announced it on the loud speaker.

“Dear students, Vice Principle Luna and I have some very exciting news for you.” Celestia beamed over the speaker. “This bright young star is from out of town, she’s from New York City and this establishment is new to her. And I’m sure you’ll all make her feel welcome.” The speaker went off.

“A new student? I wonder who it is.” Fluttershy said.

“I hope it’s not some anonymous someone whose curious about the magical energy coming from our school, because that would end tragically.” Rainbow Dash winked at Twilight. Twilight giggled.

Since they were so intrigued to find out who it was, they went to the front office to see.

The girls gasped in shock when they laid eyes on their new classmate, she has an oh so familiar face.

“Hi, my name is Coco Shine and it’s an honor to be here.” She smiled and waved.

“Eh hi…Coco.” Rarity said awkwardly.   

“Wow you look just like my friend who was here some time ago, her name is Coco Shine too.” Pinkie Pie smiled and shook Coco’s hand.

“Oh, eh, that’s nice, I guess.” Coco took her hand back.

“Well we hope you enjoy your time at CHS.” Sunset Shimmer bided Coco farewell as she motioned the girls out the door.

“How is there another Coco Shine here?” Fluttershy asked looking back at the office door.

“She must be the Coco from this world, otherwise I would have notice her come through the portal.” Sunset said scratching her head.

“Well is she is we should keep an eye on her.” Applejack said.

(Cut scene to later that day)

Coco decided to stay after school to do some studying for her new class. Sadly she came to Canterlot in the middle of the school year, it’s always hard to catch up when you’re a whole half a year late. She was nearly done when she heard someone in the hall. She poked her head out of the library door and looked down both ways, but not a single person was there. She lifted her shoulders and turned to go back to her seat, but she heard it again,

“Hello is someone there?” Coco called into the empty hall.

She heard shuffling then running, Coco ran in the direction of the running footsteps, she chased after the sound all the way to the front door. But by the time she got the door, the mysterious figure was gone.

“Who was that?” Coco scratched her head.

(Cut scene to the next day at the beginning of school)

Coco was in the library again writing down some notes for her class, she couldn’t stop thinking that strange figure yesterday. She thought she was the only student in the building at the time.

She came out of her thoughts when she heard the bell ring. She packed her bag and went to class, she had a feeling something weird was going on.

(Cut scene to Sunset in class)

Sunset Shimmer was very distraught at the idea of another Coco Shine, in fact it took her a while to get used to a new Twilight Sparkle. About a year things got patched up between the two, but still, Sunset was very concerned about this other Coco.

After half an hour the bell rung and class was dismissed. Sunset went to the library to be alone for a bit and write to Princess Twilight.

‘Hey Twilight how’s it going? I kind of have a problem.’ Sunset wrote then stopped to think of what to say. ‘Well you see, there’s this person here who resembles a pony from Equestria. And I think I already told what happened to the Twilight from over here I’m sure. She’s not a bad person but I’m still worried about her. If you have any advice on what I should do about her please let me know, your dear friend, Sunset Shimmer.’ She closed the Friendship journal and left the library.

Later at lunch Sunset spoke to the girls about the uneasiness that she felt towards the other Coco Shine, they all understood, especially Twilight. She remembered that her curiosity turned into Midnight Sparkle and how she tried to destroy the human world in order to get to Equestria. Lucky Sunset Shimmer stopped her and saved both worlds.

“Well she seems fun to me, she’s a pro in culinary class.” Pinkie Pie laughed while holding up a chocolate cupcake with blue icing.

“Oh yeah, well today in music class she totally rocked the violin and piano.” Rainbow Dash held up her IPhone and showed the girls the recording she took.

Sunset sat thinking for a few second as the girls babbled on about her amazing Coco seemed so far. “We should still keep an eye on her, we don’t want her to get herself in any trouble.”

“Right, she might somehow get curious about the portal.” Twilight said seriously. Out of nowhere Flash Sentry came up behind her and hugged her. He kissed her cheek and waved at the girls. “What’s up girls, you meet our new student yet?”

Twilight blushed as she hugged him back. “Um yes, we’ve met her already, she’s nice.” Twilight said then kissed his cheek.

“Awwwww!” The girls teased them.

Flash blushed and smiled. Yeah she’s Coco Shine, I didn’t know Coco moved to our world.    

“That’s not the Coco we know the Coco from Equestria is the one we know, that’s obviously the Coco Shine from our world because if it were our Coco she’d have recognized us.” Pinkie Pie explained quickly.

Flash stared at her for a minute before speaking again. “Uh right, so… Where did she come from?”

“Principle Celestia said she was from New York City, the Coco we know is from Neigh York City.” Applejack said tapping her chin.

“That mean she must be very fancy!” Exclaimed Rarity with stars in her eyes.

“Well even so she doesn’t know us, so we shouldn’t try overwhelm her.” Sunset said.

(Cut scene to Coco walking down the hallway)

“I wonder if that mysterious figure was one of those strange girls.” Coco thought out loud. “It would make sense, they were really interested in me and seemed to know me in a way.” Coco sighed.

As Coco walked down the hall the Cutie Crusaders waved at her. “Hi Coco. What’s up Coco?” They walked by smiling.

“Ummm, hi.” Coco smiled and waved awkwardly.

More students walked passed Coco greeting her with ‘Hellos’ and ‘How are you.’ Coco, being very confused, struggled to respond properly.

“This is so weird, how do all these people know me?” Coco made her way further down the hall when she suddenly here music, it was coming from the band room and it sounded amazing.

“When we work together we can do anything.” Fluttershy sang.

“Listen to the peacefulness our music will bring.” Rarity followed.

“Deep down inside, our hearts are glowing.” Twilight sang into her mic.

“The love that we feel is overflowing.” Sunset sung into Twilight’s mic as they smiled together.

“When the light shines down on us, we will let the whole world know.” Pinkie Pie tapped her drums.

“That all of us are ready, we are ready to go.” Applejack and Rainbow Dash sang out together.

Coco put her ear to the door and listened closer to their singing, they sounded great harmonizing together. She cracked the door a little bit and peeked inside.

As the girls sung on they ponied-up and Coco gasped silently, their magic seeped out the door and into Coco’s body. Coco panicked as pony ears popped out of her head, her hair grew a pony-tail, a unicorn the color of her skin came out of her forehead, and the star from her headband appeared on her left cheek.

“What’s happening to me?” Coco freaked out, but when the music ended everything disappeared.

“Good job team, we sound like a million.” Rainbow Dash cheered.

“It’s like our music improved once Twilight joined.” Fluttershy smiled shyly.

“Well I did use to sing when I was little.” Twilight blushed.

The girls began to pony-down when Coco burst in, she stared at them for a second as their ears and tails vanished.

“What was that? What’s going in this school?” Coco trembled as she asked.

“Ehh…well it’s hard to explain.” Applejack’s eyes shot back and forth between her friends.

“It’s something that happens to us a lot.” Sunset tried to ease Coco’s growing distress.  

“Well whatever that was, it got into me!” Coco pointed at herself even though the ears and tail was gone.

“You look fine to me.” Twilight looked her over.

“It’s gone now but I had ears, like horse ears, and a horn came out of my head, and my hair grew really long.” Coco seethed in frustration.

Sunset Shimmer held her hands to the side of her head, once again magic was running haywire around the school.

Just then Flash walked into the music room. “Hey every…” He stopped when he saw the chaotic looks on everyone’s face. “Whoa what’s going on here?” Flash blinked nervously.

Coco rushed behind him. “These girls, they’re like, some kind of mythical creatures.” Coco pointed at them fidgeting.

Flash looked from Coco to the group of friends then back, soon he started snickering then laughing loud.

“What? What is so funny?” Coco glared at him.

“This is totally normal, they do this literally all the time.” Flash wiped the corner of this eyes. “It’s kind of their thing.”

Coco looked at the group as they sighed in relief, thanks to Flash they were somewhat in the clear.

“So, this is normal?” Coco asked.

“Uh yeah, just about.” Rainbow Dash nodded while looking at her friends.

“But what about me! This isn’t normal for me, your magic leaked into me.” Coco panicked again.

“Oh, that’s a problem.” Twilight cringed.

“… What am I going to tell my parents?” Coco dragged her fingers down her face.

“Don’t worry, our power only comes out when we play music.” Fluttershy said.

“And when we express ourselves fully.” Pinkie Pie added.

Coco sighed. “Oh boy.”

(Cut scene to that night at Coco’s house)

Coco paced back and forth through her room, she didn’t know what to do about the magic that was now inside her. She wasn’t sure on how she was supposed to hide it when she wasn’t even sure about what would trigger it. Besides the music thing she couldn’t control expressing herself. And what if her parents found out? Would they think she was some kind of freak?

“Coco, can you come downstairs please?” Her mother Vivi Glow called.

Coco gulped and proceeded downstairs to the living room where her mother and father Ross Nightlight sat, along with her little brother Twiddle Spark and big sister Twinkle Skys.

“Um yes mom.” Coco asked nervously. 

“Well we have some bad news.” Ross stared at the floor. “We might have to move back to New York.”

“What, why?” Coco looked disheartened.

“We just don’t have the money to pay for this new house.” Vivi explained.

“And sadly my training doesn’t come with pay.” Twinkle sighed.

“But all my classes?!” Coco complained.

“We know Coco, but this house is too expensive for us to stay in.” Vivi scooped Coco into her arms and patted her head.

Coco feared her life would be over, nobody in New York would understand her powers if she accidentally let it show. The only ones that really knew what is was go to CHS, which is here.

“There has to be something we can do.” Coco looked pleadingly into her mother’s light purple eyes.

“I don’t know if there’s anything we can do.” Vivi hugged Coco tightly.

“We’ll be moving back next week, so if you’ve made any friends tell them you have to leave.” Ross got up and went to the kitchen.

Coco thought for a minute, maybe they didn’t have to leave.

(Cut scene to next day at school)

Coco desperately sought out the 7 friends, she had an idea that she hoped would work.

She found them playing and the band room like they were yesterday, she burst in out of breath.

“Please, you’ve got to help me!” Coco wheezed.

“Whoa, whoa calm down. What’s going on?” Rainbow Dash helped her up.

“I need help, my family, we’re going to lose our house, and be sent back.” Coco breathe out.

“What can we do?” Rarity came to her other side.

“I was thinking that maybe I could do a fundraiser.” Coco finally caught her breath. “And you guys can play at the fundraiser.

“You want us to play?” Sunset asked confused.

“Yes please, if you guys play my family night get extra money. I promise I’ll pay you back some way.” Coco stood up straight.

“I don’t know, we don’t want to reveal our magic to too many people.” Twilight said.

Coco frowned, she hadn’t really thought about that. “Well everyone in your town knows about it right?”

“Not really, no.” Fluttershy said thinking about it.

“But if everyone were to know it probably wouldn’t be much of a big deal, since people here are so nice and have probably seen our magic from afar.” Pinkie Pie flipped all around.

Everyone stood still for a moment in order to take all that in. After a while Sunset decided they’d help. “Pinkie might be right, we should help anyway we can.

The girls nodded. “I hope this works out, but we’ll do what we can.” Twilight hugged Coco, she awkwardly hugged back.

(Cut scene to them in the auditorium)

The Rainbooms were setting up their instruments when Flash walked onto the stage with Twilight’s microphone.

“You girls are gonna sound great today, you always do.” Flash smiled and handed Twilight her mic.

“Thanks Flash, you’ll cheer for us?” Twilight took her mic and kissed his cheek.

“You know I will.” Flash blushed and kissed back.

Twilight’s friends giggled at her and her boyfriend as they both blushed harder.

“W-well I’ll be sitting in the front row.” He waved and jumped off the stage.

“Remember girls this is just practice, and this is for Coco.” Applejack said tuning her bass.

“Right, so play the song and see if it’s good, then really let it rip at the fundraiser. Got it.” Rainbow Dash played three strings on her guitar.

As the auditorium filled up students cheered from the bleachers while the girls got settled. Coco sat in the front row with Flash.

The auditorium lights dimmed and the stage lights came on, the girls positioned themselves onstage in certain places then started.

“All for one and one for all, lift your head high and stand tall. We are here to make a change, the stars are soon gonna be rearranged.” The girls sung like a choir.

“Get ready to make a comeback because this is your time, not going back no not ever cause this is your prime.” Rainbow Dash hit her guitar strings.

“Don’t give up now you’re so close to the finish line, just keep looking and you’ll be surprised at what it is you’ll find.” Twilight raised on her tip-toes as she extended a hand out to the crowd.

Coco smiled as she listened to their amazing singing, the fundraiser would be a hit for sure.   

“We’re gonna fight our way up to the top, don’t look back and don’t ever stop.” Fluttershy tapped her tambouring against her hip.

“With your heart shining so bright, you’re gonna light up the whole sky tonight.” Sunset Shimmer strummed her guitar.

“No one can stop you now, your light will last forever. Don’t worry about your past, your future looks better.” They’re voices joined together again.

“And when you sing your song your voice will reach the stars, it’s a beautiful symbol of who you are.” When they said ‘stars’ Coco mentally gasped, she was a star person at heart, she loved looking out her telescope at the night sky and gazing at the stars. She knew this song was meant for her.

“Look at what all you’ve done, go far and aim high cause you’re number one.” Applejack smiled big

“A heart of gold and a beautiful style, working hard is what makes it worthwhile.” Rarity spun on one foot.

“No one can stop you now, your light will last forever. Don’t worry about your past, your future looks better.” Soon students were standing up and cheering.

“And when you sing your song your voice will reach the stars, it’s a beautiful symbol of who you are.” They came to a closing as everyone clapped and cheered for the Rainbooms, Coco was in tears as she clapped her hands in joy.

“Thank you thank you we love you too.” Rainbow Dash smiled and waved to the crowd.

The others shook their heads at her and got off the stage, Twilight and Sunset walked over to Coco. “So how did you like the song?” Twilight asked.

“It was totally amazing, that was awesome.” Coco jumped up and hugged them both. “That will make the fundraiser a hit for sure.”

“We’re glad you like it and we can’t wait to play it for you later/” Sunset smiled as she and Twilight hugged Coco back.

The rest of the mane 5 joined then as Flash got up and hugged Sunset and Twilight.

 I knew you guys were gonna rock out up here.” Flash cheered.

“Of course we did, cause we’re awesome.” Rainbow Dash high-fived Rarity.

“This is going to be wonderful, I can’t wait.” Coco smiled.

(Cut scene to later that day at Coco’s house)

Coco smiled at her new friends as she texted her parents about her plans.

“I’m so excited for this, my family is going to flip.” Coco’s eyes sparkled.

“Calm down darling, if you get too excited you’ll pop.” Rarity giggled.

“I know right, I haven’t seen anyone this excited since I made chocolate cinnamon cupcakes for charity.” Pinkie Pie said biting into a slice of Supreme Pizza. Coco ordered everyone food with her allowance.

“I can’t help it, I know they’re going to be proud of me.” Coco imagined her parents smiling and hugging her.

Coco heard the click of the front door as her parents came in, she raced downstairs and greeted them happily.

“Mom, dad, I have the answer to our dilemma. A FUNDRAISER!” Coco shouted as she jumped up.

“Coco what are talking about?” Ross asked her as he sat her down on the couch.

“Well my friends and I were going to do a fundraiser to earn money for the house.” Coco smiled.

Ross and Vivi looked at each other concerned. “I don’t know Coco. We just don’t have the money and we don’t want your friends to think they owe us anything.” Vivi frowned.

“We’d be happy to do it.” Sunset said as she and the girls came downstairs.

“Oh, Coco you didn’t tell us your friends were here.” Vivi looked surprised.

“Hi I’m Sunset Shimmer. And these are my friends: Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Twilight Sparkle.” Sunset pointed out her friends.

Coco looked at her parents with stars in her eyes, finally her father cleared his throat. “Okay Coco we’ll give this fundraiser of yours a chance.”

“Yay!” Coco hugged them both tightly. “I promise you won’t regret this.” Coco decided to have a sleepover that night.

(Cut scene to two days afterwards)

Twilight and the girls told Principle Celestia and Vice Principle Luna about Coco’s plan to save her house. They gave the students that day off to participate in the fundraiser.

Coco and her sister Twinkle Skys catered the events in the fundraiser.

Coco pulled a pan of shrimp puffs out of the oven when Applejack came into the kitchen through the back door. “Coco we’re ready to start.”    

“Okay I’m coming.” Coco put the puffs on a try and came outside to set them down on a table. Her little brother Twiddle Spark was playing with the Cutie Crusaders. Coco smiled at what she accomplished, she had set up a stage in the front yard and a bounce castle for the younger ones. The girls had their instruments onstage already, Sunset was flipping through her music sheets when Coco walked up.

“Is everyone ready? Is everything set up right?” Coco was nervous.

“Yes everything is ready.” Sunset laughed as she put a hand on Coco’s shoulder to calm her down. “You’re going to be fine Coco, everything looks great so far.”

Coco perked up. “You know what, your right, I put together an entire fundraiser in three days.” Coco smiled proudly.

“COCO NEVER FAILS!” Twinkle Skys yelled from the kitchen.

Coco blushed and chuckled, her sister was crazy.

Her mom came outside to call her back to the kitchen so they could finish more food.

(Cut scene to Trixie somewhere in the front yard)

“How come I don’t get to perform? I, the Great and Powerful Trixie, deserves to be in the spotlight.” Just then Trixie got a sneaky idea, she smiled mischievously.

(Cut scene back to Coco)

Coco just brought out some meatballs when Rainbow Dash gave her the thumbs up for the girls to star playing, Coco nodded and pointed to her dad so he could turn the lights off.

Twilight stepped up to her microphone and was able to sing the first line when I smoke exploded and Trixie appeared.

“Trixie!? What are you doing up here?” Sunset asked angrily.

“The Great and Powerful Trixie deserves to shine!” She snapped her fingers and two big speakers appeared.

“Coco chose us to play not you.” Rainbow Dash tried to move Trixie but Trixie side-stepped her and she fell off the stage onto Big Mac.

“The Great and Powerful Trixie’s music is way better than the Rainbooms, I’ll show you just how amazing my tunes are.” Trixie strummed a cord on her guitar and the giant speakers on the side of the stage blared. Everyone covered their ears as Trixie began playing her guitar at maximum volume, soon the ground started to vibrate. Coco had brought her telescope out for everyone to look at, not is was shifting closer and closer to the edge of the table.

Twiddle whined through the noise. “She’s making my ears hurt!”

Coco picked him up and took him into the house. “Stay here and don’t come back out until I say so.” Coco kissed his head and went back outside to stop Trixie.

Applejack and Sunset were trying to wrestle Trixie off the off the stage while Twilight and Fluttershy unplugged her speakers, Pinkie Pie kept the party lively with her party cannons. But some stuff was knocked over already thanks to the loud and heavy vibration of Trixie’s speakers. And amongst the fallen items was Coco’s telescope, in pieces.

Coco gasped as she ran over to it, picked up the lens, and cried silently. This was the first thing she ever built, it won her many awards back in New York and it helped pay for her education along with her siblings before they moved to CHS.

Rarity and Rainbow Dash noticed her distress and walked over to see what was wrong, they gasped too when they saw the broken telescope and glared at Trixie.

“Look what you’ve done Trixie, you broke the poor girl’s invention.” Rarity called out heatedly.

Trixie stopped resisting against Sunset and Applejack and looked down shamefully.

Coco sniffled a little then looked up, if she could put it together as a kid she can put it together now. Coco ran into her house and back out seconds later carrying a box full of tools, she grabbed pieces of the telescope and fixed them together. She analyzed which part went where, made a mental blueprint in her head, and finish her new and improved ‘Sapphire Telescope’. “Wow, if it weren’t for Trixie breaking my old telescope, I never would have made this new one.” Coco chuckled as she started to raise into the sky and glow, pony ears popped out of her head, a unicorn horn came out of her forehead, and a long curly ponytail extended from her hair. This time Coco wasn’t afraid, she laughed and flipped in midair. The mane 7 gathered around her and smiled while Trixie growled.

“So you used the Great and Powerful Trixie as a steppingstone for your own ambitions?!” Trixie sneered as she pushed her through the mane 7 towards Coco.

“I’m the most talented and amazing person in the world.” She gave off a dark aura. “You can’t disrespect the Great and Powerful Trixie!” She grabbed Coco’s arm and Coco’s eyes dilated. An electric charge went through her and pushed Trixie away, the negative aura from off Trixie corrupted Coco’s Equestrian magic.

Coco rose into the sky as a dark green sphere formed around her and engulfed her.

“What’s happening to her?” Trixie looked terrified as Coco started transforming into something unpleasant.

Her sky blue streaks turned ultramarine as white streaks appeared as well, her clothes were replaced with a black dress with a forest green wrap over the left shoulder and down the right side. Dark blue four-sided stars decorated her back dress, her shoes were forest green. Her Cutiemark was on her forehead, right under her misty brown horn. And her hair grew down to her feet like a tail.

When she opened her eyes they were a darker shade of brown, she smiled darkly as she looked at the people in her front yard. The mane 7 stared up at her front in front of the stage.

“Well isn’t this lovely?” Coco Shine grinned at everyone. “What festivities is everyone partaking in?” Coco used her dark magic to pick people.

“Coco what are you doing!?” The girls looked up at her, Sunset shielded her eyes. “This is your work, you put this together! Are you really going to destroy all that you’ve worked for!?”

Coco just snickered. “Oh please, don’t you see? With power like this I can have whatever I want!” Coco lifted her hand and shot a dark green beam at the telescope she just made and destroyed it.

The girls look shocked as Coco started blasting everything in her path, everything she saw she shot at.

Inside the house Twiddle started out the window horrified at what his sister had become.  Vivi pulled him away and cradled him in her arms. “Don’t look honey, don’t look.” She tried to shush his whimpering.

Twinkle was cowering in the kitchen while Coco bluff stuff up. Then she heard her mother calling out for her and she crawled to the living room and hugged her mom and brother.

Back outside Trixie was hiding behind the stage so Coco couldn’t see her, Ross was back there too. When he spotted Trixie he became furious.

“You, you did this to my child! What’s happening to her?!” He bombarded her with questions she couldn’t answer.

“I don’t know, I have no idea why this happened.” Trixie started crying.

Coco had destroyed half the yard. “Now that I think about it, I can create a whole new world. Everything I’ve ever wanted right at my fingertips, and I can be the ruler of that world!” Coco shot a beam at a bush and it turned into an Emerald diamond bush, she shot another bush and it did the same thing.

“Coco stop, your disrupting the genetic design of this world.” Twilight cried out.

“That doesn’t matter to me because I can recreate it, I can make a better and improved world. Something that will go down in history.” Coco cackled. “Everyone will know the life that I knew, working as hard as I did and achieving their own goals. Nobody will ever have to depend on their friends ever again, and they’ll worship my hard work!” Coco cackled loudly.

“Coco no, this isn’t right! Do you know what would happen if you change the Earth’s physical makeup? Disasters of catastrophic proportions will take place!” Twilight explained shakingly.

Rainbow Dash face palmed. “She means don’t so this because it’s wrong.”

“You can’t do this Coco, making the entire world work under you. What would you gain from that?” Sunset tried to plead with her.

“Satisfaction of course, people are so lazy and act as it they can’t do the simplest of things.” Coco growled.

“But why do this?” Sunset gestured around her.

 “Because I want to evolve this planet further.” Coco grinned as she transformed more object into diamonds.

“Coco we can’t let you do this, wake up and see what’s happening around you!” Rarity said.

“Enough of this, stop wasting my time.” Coco shot a beam at them but they jumped out of the way, the blast formed a diamond carpet on the ground.

Twilight stepped forward. “Coco I know how you feel, I too was overwhelmed with power. I lost myself for moment and almost destroyed our world to get what I wanted. But you can take a different path Coco, I won’t let you do this!” Twilight closed her eye, she put her hands over her heart as Coco threw a black magic bomb at her. The mane 6 screamed at the sight, but when the smoke vanished Twilight was transformed.

Her hair was in a loose ponytail that came down to her ankles, she wore a light lavender dress covered in white sparkles. It had a slight orchid streak going across her midsection all the way around. Her shoes were two inch plum shaded heels with orchid socks, the dress stopped above her knees and her wings glowed brightly. Her horn was sparkling as she opened her eyes to Coco.   

“Coco, I know you feel like you can have it all right now but you can’t, I won’t let you destroy this world.” Twilight shot a light purple blast at Coco.

Coco smacked it aside as if it were an insignificant fly. “You are weak Twilight, there is no way you can best me.” She shot her own blast at Twilight and it hit, Twilight stumbled back in midair and held her chest.

“Twilight!” Flash yelled out her name, Twilight looked at him surprised. “Be careful!” He shouted up at her, she nodded.

“Coco this has got to stop now, you have to end this.” Twilight feared they’d cause more devastations to the already flattened front yard.

“Your right Twilight, I am going to end this!” Coco formed an enormous sphere of negative energy over her head. “I’m ending all of this!”

Ross poked his head from behind the stage to observe what was transpiring. He gasped loudly at the sight of all the darkness Coco was holding, but the most sinister part of her atmosphere was the demonic look in her eyes.

“I am going to be the ruler of the new world, and you can’t stop me.” Coco shrieked.    

The Rainbooms huddled together in front of the stage still as Twilight and Coco duked it out in the sky. Sunset prayed Twilight didn’t lose to Coco, but from the way it looked, Earth was soon going to become a sphere of multi colored diamonds suspended in space.

Coco sneered as she aimed the dark energy at Twilight, who was weary from the battle, Coco laughed manically. “Goodbye Twilight Sparkle!”

Coco was about to throw the darkness when her father ran from behind the stage and shouted up to her. “Coco please stop this!” He had a look of devastation on his face.

Coco stopped and stared at him, looking like she might stop all the destruction, but her face soon hardened. Don’t speak to me, you were gonna force us to move back to New York!” She scolded him.

“Is that what this is about Coco? You could have just talked to me and your mother, and we never knew that you were so upset about it.” Ross looked disheartened.

“I don’t want to hear it, there’s nothing you can say to correct what you’re trying to do, now say your prays!” Coco went to obliterate everything.

“BIG SISTER STOP!” The sound of Coco’s little brother’s voice stopped her again, but this time she remained still.

Coco looked at him as her mother and older sister came to bring him back inside, Twinkle stopped and looked dejectively at her.  

Coco looked around at everyone in dismay, while she was distracted Twilight shot a cosmic beam at her that engulfed her.

Coco gasped as her eyes brightened and the dark energy that rubbed off from Trixie disappeared.

Coco closed her eyes and descended back to the ground, Twilight’s appearance returned to normal as she rushed over to Coco’s side.

“Are you okay Coco?” Twilight asked hugging her.

“I…I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me.” Coco pulled away while wiping away tears.

“We know you didn’t mean it Coco.” Sunset smiled sympathetically as she and the rest of the Rainbooms walked up to her.

Coco bit her bottom lip to keep from crying, Vivi and her two other children walked over to her and hugged her.

“Oh Coco, we’re so sorry.” Vivi sobbed over her daughter’s head. “We were never going to move.”

Coco looked shocked at the news. “But you said we didn’t have enough money to stay here.” Coco frowned.

“I know honey, but that’s not true, not even close, it was just a test for you.” Vivi smiled warmly.

“A test? For me? Why?” Coco looked confused.

“To see if you would make any bonds and try to keep them.” Ross come up to the side of them. “You always kept to yourself, we wanted to push you to make friends for once.”

“But I, what was this planned from the very beginning?” Coco looked as lost as a new born in its new home.

“Yep pretty much.” Twinkle Skys grinned.

“You knew about this?” Coco stared in disbelief. 

“Sure did, my service training pays more than you think.” Twinkle laughed a bit.

“A-and was Twiddle a part of this too?” Coco looked at her brother.

“Kind of, he knew we were testing you and that we were never really gonna move.” Twinkle laughed some more.

“Wow, you guys are crazy.” Coco looked at her family and smiled.

Twilight rested a hand on Coco’s shoulder. “So you’re staying huh?”

“It looks like it, and you know what? I can’t wait to get to know my new friends all over again.” Coco smiled as she hugged Twilight and Sunset.

“And we’d be more than happy to get to know you again Coco.” Twilight said hugging back.

Trixie poked her head from behind the stage, she stepped forward and helped up her hands.

“If it weren’t for the Great and Powerful Trixie this lovely moment never would have happened. So give it up for me.”

Nobody said a word as everyone glared at Trixie, after a while she laughed nervously, threw down a smoke bomb and disappeared.   

“She gone!” Pinkie Pie shouted, then she looked up and saw Trixie hiding behind a bush in someone’s yard across the street. Trixie got up and ran away.

Sunset rolled her eyes. “Don’t worry about her, she’s always like that. She and the girls laughed.

(Cut scene to later that day)

Flash gave Twilight one last kiss on the cheek before she claimed onto the newly built stage in Coco’s front yard. The students used the money they were going to donate to fix it and her house, now the mane 7 were ready to perform their song for Coco’s family.

“This song goes out to an amazing friend of ours, Coco Shine and her family.” Sunset said into the microphone in front of her.

Coco gazed in happiness as they started singing her song. ‘Who You Are.’
