Eine ganz besondere Lok aus den 1930ern. Mit damals innovativer Stromlinienverkleidung und enormer Kraft von 2200 PS. Noch im selben Jahr nach der Auslieferung 1939 an die SNCB erreichte dieses elegante Kraftpaket den ersten Geschwindigkeitsrekord auf der Strecke Brüssel-Ostende und erhielt das “Blaue Band” für kommerzielle Dampfzüge auf Regelstrecken. Im Testbetrieb hat die Lok sogar einmal die Geschwindigkeit von 165 km/h erreicht.

A very special locomotive from the 1930s. With an innovative streamlined design and an enormous power of 2200 hp. In the same year after it was delivered to the SNCB in 1939, this elegant powerhouse achieved its first speed record on the Brussels-Ostend route and was awarded the “Blue Ribbon” for commercial steam trains on controlled lines. In test operation, the locomotive even reached a speed of 165 km/h.
