#cobylaw

I desperately want to write for Cobylaw or Cobylawlu and Cobyuta (???) though. Downside is, I don't know how to write any of these characters. Luffy is notoriously difficult to write. I don't think a lot of OP fan knows how complex Koby's character is. Law should be easier by a tad, but I don't relate to him at all and that makes it hard to imagine him in my head. Uta??? Uta is a mess. She's so much and so little at the same time.

No matter how long Coby spent under the night sky during his travels as a marine, he could never get tired at looking at the stars.

It was one of the things he still kept from the times his parents were alive as they took him camping in their island and taught him the name of every star and constellation.

But he started to love it even more when he was able to meet Law and they spent their nights talking, in comfortable silence, whispering secrets, etc.

Coby didn't even remember how the two first met exactly and came to grow closer but he is sure that he had to thank Luffy for that as Coby would never have met the people he has if it wasn't for him.

And he had to thank him too for giving him courage to confess to Law as he planned to do this night.

Maybe he would end up heartbroken or maybe not but Coby could only find out when he confessed besides, if he did end up heartbroken he could always make sure his ship didn't follow the same path as the Heart Pirates submarine.

Law never paid attention to the sky or the stars.

His focus was always on his studies and his family and they never camped or talked much about constellations even if his sister had requested a book about constellations for her next birthday before everything went to hell.

So, he really didn't see any reason to pay attention to them until he met and befriended Coby.

At first he was reticent in interacting with Coby since he was a marine but he knew that there was no way to go against Luffy's wishes so he ended up entailing a conversation with Coby at some point and things grew from there.

Coby while showing to be shy and nervous, had this aura that brought comfort to Law so he couldn't stop himself from continuing to meet and talk to him.

His crew didn't take long on noticing it and made sure their submarine would be able to meet Coby's ship often so Law could take a chance and spend nights talking with Coby.

It was during those talks that Law learnt about Coby's love for the stars and Law found it fitting as Coby was similar to them.

Law had fallen for the pink haired marine and once he realized it, he wasn't even surprised as while Luffy entered his life as an elephant dancing in a china pot store, Coby entered it shyly and subtly without wanting to interrupt it but slowly capturing all of Law's attention.
