          “Ain’t that a good thing? Nothin’ worse than a clingy ass ex.” Emotionally-inept sociopath didn’t really know how to SOOTHEMadison’s BRUISED EGO. (Let’s face it, that was the problem here). Helena could relate to the mentality – Though, she tended to cut off all contact with anyone she was no longer fucking around with. IF she found out one of her ex playthings had acquired a NEW OWNER – Stomach churned away like a tsunami imagining it. Not that they ever could. Redhead made damn sure to ruin them for anyone else. DIABOLICAL IDEA popped into her mind. Black empty pits she called eyes glimmering with something akin to EXCITEMENT – “Why don’t we make ‘em jealous?” Sounded fun.

ℰ. ✾ }  ———— “I think I’ve got just the thing…” Prim and proper Maggie didn’t look like the type of girl to have alcohol hidden away but sometimes appearances were quite deceiving. “For occasions like this…” Reaching into her undergarment drawer she retrieved a green flask and handed it over to Madison. “Homemade Moonshine.” Paul had given it to her after word got out that Jimmy cheated on her. “Definitely stronger than coffee and nothing near cocaine…not that I’d know anything about that.” She’d never done drugs and never intended to. “Now tell me what happened before you get too wasted.”

She had been trying to turn over a new leaf and show the others that she was not like Stanley - she had warned them about him for a reason and she wanted them to see that she was a sincere, good person. “I know just what you mean by that. It’s like some people just don’t understand or want to believe that someone can change. They just have to keep dragging them down…” She sighed softly. “I believe you’re trying to be a better person though. If that means anything.”

“Can’t you just lay off about it?” It was easier to snap at her than allow himself to think about his actions leading up to this moment and just how screwed up they were. He diverted his eyes unable to look at her and see just how upset and vulnerable she was. There was no malice or even anger - just pain - and that made it so much worse. Brener was not equipped to handle such emotion. “It’s over and done with. No use dwelling on it.” Shutting her down was better than dealing with an uncomfortable conversation about her feelings.

He wasn’t drunk enough to deal with this shit. If Brener wanted to put up with Madison he was going to have to get up and raid her liquor cabinet. Wasn’t like she was going to be drinking it anyway. Pregnant bitch. That was most definitely his fault.

This is what true boredom led to. Absolutely no good. It wasn’t her fault that Miss Robichaux’s radiated in dullness. It was only natural for the young witch to come up with the worst possible way to have a little fun. “I’ve got the perfect plan…just hear me out okay?” Blue eyes sparkled with mischief and she couldn’t wait to share her plan. “We go out to the old graveyard where all the deceased our deceased coven members are buried and I’ll resurrect a few of them.” It already sounded like a stupid idea but Alex was way too excited to see that. “Don’t worry I can control them.” She paused for a moment before continuing to pitch what she believed to be the best prank ever. “Then we bring them home and I will mind control a few of the girls to think they are madly in love with them. After that, we just sit back and watch the fun.” How could that possibly go wrong?

“What the hell do you want me to say?” Green eyes met her hazel ones and held them for only a brief moment before looking down again - it was rare that he could meet her eyes much less hold his gaze on her. “I’m not going to say it wasn’t murder because it fucking was.” He tried to keep his tone neutral but there was an undertone of shame and regret that Madison would surely pick up on. “But it’s not on you…it’s on me. You murdered them but it was my fault.” It was the first time that he was actually owning up to the mistakes he’d made. “I shouldn’t be alive. I should be dead with them.” And he would have been if she hadn’t fucked that chance up and kept him alive.
