Displaying speed and athleticism they had honed on the streets, Mick crossed the rooftops with ease, jumping and vaulting over any obstacle in their way. There was a freedom they possessed up here, away from everything below. It was like their own personal kingdom and they shared it with none but their brother.

They came to a stop before a string of air conditioning units, all whirring with activity. They pulled a paint stained bandanna over their nose and mouth before producing a can of spray paint from the pocket of their hooded sweatshirt. Tagging was a new hobby they had picked up and they were already notorious for the pieces they left in their wake, staking claim to their territory.

They quickly covered the units and stood off to the side, the full scope of their art only truly visible from an angle. They pulled off the bandanna and capped the can, smiling at their work.

“Looks good.” Came a voice.

Mick jumped and almost ran as they turned to find their twin standing mere inches from where they had been and now laughing hysterically.

“Dude!” Mick exclaimed. “Don’t fucking do that!”
