Name: Min Yoongi
Age: 22Â
Sexuality: Genderblind.Â
“Role”: Leader.Â
Backstory: After being taken away from his parents at a young age, Yoongi was thrown into the human trafficking industry in China. He’d spent most of his life being passed around from master to master, being branded and marked – bruised and beaten and then kicked to one side as soon as the next slave came along. It took many years for Yoongi to escape. A new master came along, wanting to find a brand new toy for his son; he’d taken quite a liking to the young lad, Yoongi recalls being praised for just how strong he was to have lasted this long.
Over the years that Yoongi had stayed with that master, his son had grown quite attached. He’d seen and spoken to Yoongi in ways that no one else would have ever considered – not even for a second. The nights that Yoongi had done something wrong and had to receive those punishments, he remembers the distinct pain, the numbing of it and the taste of iron. He recalls blacking out only to awake at the other males side and wrapped up in blankets, he remembers feeling loved and cared for the first time.
The male had been there to witness all of it, he’d seen Yoongi at his weakest and it had pained him. It wasn’t until one day, with the downfall of his father, he grabbed Yoongi, a bag of clothes and all the cash he could get before taking his leave. He’d been a witness to Yoongi being locked up in a cage – on display for the whole world to see, like some type of rare bird. He was the one to set him free.Â
Returning to Korea had various perks and of course the odd downside, despite that small pang of happiness to be home and finally released from the bonds of his past masters, despite being reunited with his mother — he couldn’t help but feel as if something wasn’t quite right. There were nights where he’d sneak out of the small apartment that he shared with his sick mother, only to return in the early hours of the morning piss drunk or with a busted lip and black eye. This was it, this was how it had all started and how it had bought Yoongi to current day. Overtime, he manages to work up some sort of name for himself, he’s feared by some, hated by others while the rest are just doing all they can to get Yoongi on their side. It starts off with one person, then a second comes along, next a third and eventually, before he knows it — he has a full gang behind him. A gang that was created out of intentions for revenge, One that owns the streets and will not stand for anyone trying to get in their way or attempt to take it away from them. When they aren’t roaming the streets they spend their time hidden in their warehouse or working at the tattoo parlour Yoongi had purchased after his mother had passed away. Despite being mainly in control, he allows the other members to have freedom and gives them equal opportunities to work with and please their clients (besides Jungkook). It’s a team effort, together they do all they can to get by — as a group, a gang, as a family.
