Bicé was lost. Apparently, despite her ability to speak nearly every language that could still be found somewhere in this world, she lacked strong navigational skills -- or even moderate ones. If Victoria were here, she would surely have some snide comment intended to make Bicé feel small and foolish for how she had chosen to spend her life -- but she was not here, and, if Bicé was being completely honest, she did not really miss her. She did, however, miss the two who were still in her life, if she could only figure out the way back to where they were staying for the time being.
In a moment of panic, she grabbed the shoulder of the person nearest to her, then immediately released them, startled by her own boldness. “I’m sorry,” she began in Polish. “I am trying to go back to Cieszyn. Please, can you help me?”

How many days had it been? Had it been weeks? Had it not even been two days? Patricia couldn’t even tell anymore. She’d lost track of the time up here. It was all too easy to do. Despite the fact that she was burdened with the weight of knowing what had happened on prom night, and how she’d directly caused pain for so many people, and even the death of one, there was a certainly tranquility up here, away from it all.
While it was easy to lose track of the time, it wasn’t easy to lose track of everything else. Despite the fact that she’d been completely blacked out during the chaos of trying to get people out of the crumbling building, which she had caused, her mind had been kind enough to make up the sounds of screams for her. There were so many scenarios already made up in her head, that she felt as if she knew what had happened in full detail, despite the fact that she couldn’t truly remember any of it. She could only remember the catalyst-- the thing that pent her nerves and stress up so much, that it finally let out in a blast.
... Nemo
Just thinking the name caused a shudder of fear to run through her body. Not because of the boy himself, of course, but because of what she could’ve done to him. She hadn’t wanted to kill anybody, ever, of course, but what if it had been Nemo? She was devastated by the fact that anybody at all had lost their life because of her stupid powers, but... if it was him?
Would she have ever been able to come back from that?
It was a preventative measure-- the whole mountain thing. She came up here because she was too dangerous to be anywhere else. She didn’t want to hurt anyone else. She didn’t want to kill anyone else. If it meant she had to go away, and if it meant she had to isolate herself away from everyone, then she would make that sacrifice. If it meant never seeing the people she cared about again, at the expense of keeping them safe from her, then she would do it.
She turned off her cellphone, and she’d only told a few people were she would be going.
God forbid she should hurt anybody she loved. Didn’t she deserve to be alone, for this reason? It was quiet up here, at least. The fresh mountain air that she stepped outside to every morning gave her a sense of renewing. Though the aching in the back of her head still remained-- a reminder of just what she’d done-- it was nothing compared to what it had been while constantly surrounded by the noise of life, or even the made-up noises of lives in jeopardy.
In fact, she’d seldom heard noises other than the noises of nature- birds calling, wind blowing through trees, and the occasional sound of a flapping that seemed too loud to be from any kind of bird, but she brushed that one off as gusts of wind.
There were noises that she hadn’t been hearing though. Beside all of the obvious, the one thing she never heard was a knocking at the door. Erasmus and her dad had been up here a couple of times, but they didn’t knock. At least, they didn’t knock but only a couple of times before opening the door, and announcing themselves with their voices. When she heard knocks at the door now, it caused a look of confusion, eyebrows knit as she looked at the door.
She thought to ask ‘who is it?’, but she told herself that perhaps her brother’s arms were full, and he needed help opening the door.
She got to her feet, and bounded towards the door without a second thought-- something her brother might have reprimanded her for once she opened it, but she’d have to deal with that as it came.
Though, it didn’t appear like it would be coming. There was an all-too familiar face when she pulled the door open, but it wasn’t her brother.
“Nemo!” She felt a quick throb in her head as she repeated out quiet, little ‘no’s. She shook her head. “You can’t be here!” The anxiety on her face was clear as she began to close the door on him, trying to usher him away.

Siren
Siren- Does your muse often act in revenge?
[I wouldn’t call it revenge so much as spite. She doesn’t plan things specifically to harm Knoth. At the same time, she’s not going to do anything to make his life easier. I feel like spite is more of an emotion, fueling some of her decisions, while revenge would be more of an intentional action. She’s very fucking bitter and spiteful, though.]

Acromantula- Has your muse saved a life? Banshee- Has your muse had a close call with death?
[I'm going to answer these together because it all very much runs together for Val. In any verse I write her in where she's still living in Temple Gate (the town the game takes place in,) she is fighting for survival nearly every day.
Everyone in the town who is still loyal to Knoth and The Testament (so… most of them) want her dead. They are specifically seeking out her and the other heretics to kill them. There’s a lot of fighting and it is very much life or death; There have absolutely been times when she’s killed a member of The Testament just moments before they could kill another member of her group, and absolutely times when she’s nearly been killed herself but saved at the last moment. Temple Gate is a dangerous place.]
