Another doll custom I'm working on, face up is done for now may go back and do some minor tweaks. Now for the wig/ears/tail and clothing! I can't wait to finish her, shes going to look so cool!!!!

Sooo I decided to customize a Mermaid High doll. I wanted a 80s/90s anime vibe for her and now that her head has been transferred to an old Ever After High doll body I had laying around. So its time to make her clothes and the like for something a little more anime and of course era vibed.
As a side note though, pure acetone didn’t get this girls face off alone. It took scraping and slightly damaging the face to get that factory face off before giving it a good rub down in acetone and even then the lashes and lips stained. SO yeah, if anyone plans to do any sort of custom with these head, just be aware of that. Otherwise transferred to another body for more posing capabilities, and I’m super happy with the way she turned out despite the set backs.

So Freebies on flight rising that I’m doing to get back in the wing of drawing again. Doing mostly dragon gijinka’s because I’m not at the comfort level of drawing actual dragons again without being stupidly over detailed and taking weeks to do. Its gotten me back in pretty quickly honestly but I’m still not where I usually am with details/expressions so going to do some more till I feel right and then start taking commissions~
I did 2 faces ups in one DAY!
Yesterday I did it. Two different faces in one day. I was going to open up commissions yesterday and draw bust for others because I am going to need a lot of funds soon for medical reasons that are spiraling out of my control. Needless to say I got my tablet set up, opened my art program and jus stared at it for a while not wanting to do that, nor feeling the urge to do so. I wanted to do something for myself because in all the chaos a lil a self care helps a long way (and having supportive friends/husband) helps out a lot too! So yesterday these two laides happened and the start of a 3rd but she’s still very much a WIP. Plus I need to find these two bodies and complete their actual make over before getting to ahead of myself. I’m very happy with how they both turned out since my hands have been shaking and trying to keep very still has been an ordeal in itself. Proud. Yup I’m proud of what I did.
