One thing that sticks out in this DoA EvilDad sequence (besides the obvious you've pointed out) is how utterly unrealistic EvilDad's dialogue is. I actually find myself struggling to imagine EvilDad speaking in my mind because his dialogue is so divorced from how someone like him would talk. Or how a human being in general would talk. I can't read it and hear an actual voice with it, if that makes sense. It's a level beyond stilted.
