Elodie was slouched slightly in one of the chairs in Mia’s office during a break the woman had. The end of the school year opened up the blonde’s schedule to a painful degree and she struggled to fill it with something that would keep her from feeling nauseatingly bored. Sure, she had private lessons to consume some of her free time, but none of those started for another week or two and she couldn’t find repertoire for most of them without prior knowledge of their skill level. 

While she didn’t know Mia terribly well, she figured now was as good a time as any to perhaps learn a little more about her and also break out of her own shell a little in the process. The basilisk didn’t make friends easily because anxiety usually forced her to keep her distance, but the other woman was low-key enough to make her feel comfortable even when she couldn’t force herself to engage in small talk. It was nice. Elodie texted her earlier that day and asked if she could bring her lunch, and so she showed up when the doctor had free time with a pair of sandwiches and a couple of cookies.
