This morning I woke up with a thought about Umbara: what if after Dogma's arrested and they're all still on the Umbaran air base, all of main clones can't sleep from the whole "shooting-at-our-own-brothers" deal and so without a word they all kind of just pile all their mattresses together and are all cuddling for comfort and then Anakin, who came after he heard about Krell, comes in looking for Rex and then just walks out when he sees the clone pile

I would pay good money to see an actual clone pile. I think you’re absolutely right that they do it after missions go horribly wrong. Especially Umbara. (I can’t take credit for that headcanon; someone else posted something similar and said it much better than I ever could.)
Just a small mountain of cuddling limbs and warm bodies. That has to be the most comforting thing in the world.
…now I want to pay good money to be part of a clone pile. :(

Good point though! We see them sitting... But it's hard armor... probably digs into the creases beneath each buttcheek. It looks like there are some differences between Phase 1 (top pic) and Phase 2 (bottom pics). Phase 1 looks a little more thongy (LOL) so that can NOT have been comfortable on the family jewels. Phase 2 looks to have a bit more coverage. I wonder if there was a little cushion put in on the inside...
