I just finished this Drawing Request for @zerflixx A fun mini comic with Kikmee and @zerflixx Transformers Botbots OC Dunk’Don.

The first mini comic is of Kikmee is introducing Dunk’Don as her Boyfriend to the other LostBots,

posting some of my headcanons of the Lost Bots just for fun:

Burgertron

Sexuality: Bisexual

"Age": 23 (Botbots don't have actual ages but seeing that in the episode "Science Alliance," we see an older Burgertron with a beard, ehh..... This is all just like speculation.)

Pronouns: he/him

Writes fanfiction about the Hunger Hubs but also about other Botbots (many of them are super cheesy (no pun intended) but he does have some very, VERY not safe for work fics (he keeps them very well-hidden so nobody finds or reads them.)

He also never writes drafts, otherwise he'll forget all about it the next day

Still is head over heels with his girlfriend Ulf the Orange (she's an orange juice box) but is also somewhat bi for Spud Muffin (he used to be bi for Spud but after being betrayed by him not anymore), Frostferatu and even Kikmee (who wouldn't have a crush on Kikmee, she's hot!) but his number one is Ulf the Orange.

In addition to fanfics he also sometimes draws fanart (he's a decent artist) and once again he has some naughty drawings that he once again keeps hidden (Burgertron is definitely dirty-minded)

Somehow knows about sites like Google, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and yes even Wattpad and Deviantart, and he sometimes posts on the latter 2 without Dave's knowledge under the username JuicyBeefPatty_68.

He also has a Sonic OC, Grill the Ox.

Treats Dimlit like a younger brother (not by being a jerk towards him like Rodrick from Diary of a Wimpy Kid; as in Dimlit looks up to Burgertron.) although Burgertron isn't always the best influence on Dimlit.

He also has a custom made (made by himself) Ulf the Orange body pillow. Also can we just say that he SNORES when sleeping?

His snoring isn't the worst thing; it's actually the fact that he sometimes sleepwalks during a dream sequence, and he even goes around disturbing the other Lost Bots when they're TRYING TO SLEEP!!

Dimlit

Sexuality: asexual biromantic

Age: 18

Pronouns: he/they

The youngest of the Lost Bots and therefore considered the baby of the group

The dictionary definition of "angel child"

Autistic and has a bit of ADHD (although not officially diagnosed because Burgertron doesn't trust doctors

He likes bedtime stories as well as the sleepcore, dreamcore, and cozycore aesthetics.

Although he's asexual he is still in a romantic relationship with Jacqueline (I say Dimlit is ace because I have the idea that Dimlit doesn't know how babies are actually made (if you know, you know) so Dimlit believes the stork story, and we keep it that way.)

Sees Burgertron as an older brother figure, like the Tails to Burgertron's Sonic.

Should be supervised at all costs whenever he gets to be on the internet, Dimlit is very impressionable and one wrong click could traumatize him permanently.

And also do not wake up Dimlit in the middle of a nap or bedtime. Trust me.

Also despite what I said please don't infantilize him. He does NOT like that.

Owns A LOT OF plushies and cozy blankets with soft textures. He also hogs the covers

Bonz-Eye

Sexuality: lesbian

Age: 29

Pronouns: she/they

Definitely big sister/mom friend material

We don't talk of the scar on her eye. Just know it Involved pineapples.

Despite being the most zen and the strongest members of the Lost Bots, she is TERRIFIED of deep/large bodies of water.

Sleeps in the nude

She and Lady Macaron are dating

She and Kikmee have like a sisterly bond

Clogstopper:

Sexuality: gray sexual

Age: 21

Pronouns: he/him

He's the guy who comes up with some of the most absurd theories (for instance, he insists that Justin Bieber caused the Bite of 87 or that One Direction created the Backrooms)

The most questionable member of the group

He cannot read or write

After the events of "I, Cheeseburger", Clogstopper was inspired to make his own plays (he doesn't write them out (like I said he can't write), he just does them.)

He and Fottle Barts sometimes hang out, and FB definitely has a crush on him, although Clogstopper is too clueless to know that.

He likes to ramble for hours on end!

Kikmee:

Sexuality: pansexual trans girl

Age: 24

Pronouns: she/her

She's SO TALL!!!!!

sometimes she likes to kiss her squad mates to show her affection as well as sometimes kiss members of the Jock Squad (these are all platonic kisses)

she used to have this problem where she would be a sore loser (like with the Claw Machine episode or that Chess game at the beginning of "Dimlit in Love") but she has gotten help about that from Bonz-Eye

It's actually surprising that Kikmee was the last one to get a date (she's dating Dunk'Don)

While she did have a small crush on Batsby at one point, Kikmee is more male leaning. And besides, Batsby is dating Dinger.

Can get competitive to the point where it's scary...

Ok, so... disclaimer: this my first time posting original content on tumblr or any social media site. Darn you, social anxiety! But I wanted to share this cuz I feel comfortable now and, well, why not, you know? Before I begin, let me first say that i love Transfromers botbots and that this is not a hate rant nor is it professional criticism. I'm just ranting about the things that I did and didn't like in each episode, mostly didn't like, maybe, I'm making it up as I go along. Also, fair warning, my likes outweigh my dislikes, but my rage is profound so if it seems like my criticisms are longer than my praise then it's just me screaming about the same thing over and over not me giving a hate speech the likes of I have no mouth but I must scream.

Also, second disclaimer: as you can see from the giant paragraph above, brevity is not an object within my reach and will probably only get further and further away. Now onto the rant!

Episode 1, part 1: Mall than meets the eye.

LIKES

Firstly, love the puns for the titles. i love when titles are just puns on the story and this one always gives me a small chuckle. The intro scene with the bot bots was super fun too and just filled me with such gleeful wonder. This is one of the reasons why I love botbots, the botbots themselves. The idea that anything could become a transformer feels so amazing to me that i can't even describe. Like, there's so much opportunity for world building and character ideas and the fact their whole world is confined to the mall cuz that's all they know is so interesting especially in the way it shapes their views on the world around them and how they interact with each other! Watching it again makes feel like I'm transported to this whole new world just without the magic carpet ride and handsome swindler.

Secondly, Burgertron, my flawed little baby. I missed him, he was my favourite. It's a bit of a bittersweet feeling cuz nostalgia really got me thinking he was the sweetest little thing and re watching it has me being doused with reality. I'll probably grow to love him again but right know he reminds me of the secondly characters who I will express my feelings for in my dislikes. I like how sweet he is to the lost bots because he doesn't hate them or cringes away from them or make snide remarks on their appearance and behaviours. He is genuinely nice and patient and answers their questions. Although, he does suffer from (and this is just my best description of his behaviour) a lack of empathy because while he sympathizes with their situation it doesn't occur to him to actually help. He saw some bots in need of socialization who were desperately lonely and after telling them all the wonders of outside and having friends was like, Welp, nice knowing ya but I'm gonna head back to my great life now. Good luck with your loneliness, peace! If they hadn't asked him for help he wouldn't have spared them a thought. Although I should give him some points for aiding them without complaint and accepting their friendship after his former friends turned their backs on him.

Thirdly, the Lost bots. I love all of them! Admittedly, some more than others but still all love them. Currently, my ranking for them is Dimlit, Kikmee and Bonz-Eye, and then Clogstopper. Actually, speaking of Clogs, what is with all the jokes about all disgusting he is. I don't mind toilet humour but it's not all in service of his character. I'm fine, as of this episode, with his love of gross stuff but I have problems when Burgertron starts making comments on it. Clogs and the Custodian Crew were made to clean, them handling mess and waste is at least better than making them (looking at you, Ketchup bottle). The other lost bots are also interesting. The show does a good job of introducing them and establishing their characters without making them feel samey.

Now, DISLIKES

Burgertron's outcasting and the treatment of the lost bots was well done and sets up their character motivations pretty well. BUT, I have a problem with how the show treats the secondary characters.

It's one thing to have them turn on Burgertron (at least for plot) it's another to never call them out on their lack of empathy or victim blaming. Burgie (stealing that from Ulf, she doesn't deserve it) almost died, he was about to be EATEN ALIVE! There's a good chance that he wouldn't have come back from that and he knew it! In order to follow the rules, Burgie was willing to let himself die and if not for Dimlit then he'd be gone! AND EVERYONE WAS THERE! They had to be to know he revealed their secret so that means that they were all watching him about to be eaten and DID NOTHING! Maybe it was out of fear but I'm betting it was to avoid breaking the rules themselves but they still hid and almost watched him die! (It's kind of dystopian in hindsight which gives me chills, the good kind. I love a subtle dystopia where it's all fine until something goes wrong and they go all Lord of the flies).

Worst of all, they blame Burgertron! He almost died and it was Dimlit who saved him and caused the reveal! But instead of being glad for his safety or at least being sad to banish him, they get mad. They look at their friend that they've known for years (or at least since their onlining) and get mad and act like it was his fault! Ulf, the love interest herself, one of Burgie's best friends, has the audacity to say she doesn't even know him anymore! Like girl, he didn't do anything except almost die! Did you want him to be eaten? Would you be happier if he had kept to the rules at the expense of his life? Honestly, if he had, they probably would have given him a funeral and labelled him a hero for his sacrifice and then gone on to play.

I would have been willing to accept all of this nonsense behaviour if the show had called them out on it. But it doesn't. Spoilers for the end, after a series of adventures to get liked that cements the group's friendship and fail to get them to their squads, the Lost bots succeed and get back (Burgie keeps saying 'get back' which is ridiculous as except him they were never in a squad to begin with) and Ulf accepts him back in her heart without ever receiving any consequence. None of the bullying they endured got addressed, none of the secondary characters ever get called out, change, or get punished! No, instead it's all good cuz they stopped Dave, revealed Spud Muffin's treachery and proved that they're useful to the squad. It annoys me to no end but I think I've ranted enough.

I've said my piece on this episode and will do ep1, part2 (Never) be yourself, later hopefully. I've got a big exam coming up and am not sure if I'll come back to this but I'll try. If anyone has any opinions on this show or has even watched it, I'll love to hear it!
