Question: what's their favorite holiday?
For Tyriad: There's an in-universe druid holiday that he grew up celebrating which takes place on the summer solstice and is celebrated more or less like christmas in the southern hemisphere of our world (think more along the lines of Yule if it was celebrated with pool parties and bbqs). He grew up in the desert so most of this holiday was centered around finding ways to stay cool while giving gifts and spending time with family, and I imagine some of his best childhood memories would be from these celebrations.
For Razi: His all-time favorite is probably Lover's Day, the in-universe equivalent to valentines day. He's a sap and loves his husband what can I say. I think he'd also really like hanukkah, both because he'd get way too into driedel and fried foods but also I think the story would resonate with him: I imagine he knows what it's like to be stuck somewhere expecting to run out of time at any moment and yet somehow your lantern keeps burning long past it's expiration date.
I think that's a red flag
