Tavi never meant to withdraw when he was upset. In fact he always told himself repeatedly that he wouldn’t let one person getting on him affect him, that he’d go out and do everything the same and not let it bother him. And every time he instead ended up poking morosely through his work just to retreat back to his quarters and pout.
He didn’t even realize he was doing it specifically until he looked up from his busy work to find himself staring Hira in the eye. Right. He’d been basically invisible for three days straight. “...Sorry for vanishing,” he mumbled after a moment.
