hi... how do you do your multi colored lines? ive been tryin to figure out for ages but youres just look so smooth and gosh.
thank you! well, i use Paint Tool Sai when drawing. So, when I’ve got myself a line, i like to press the “preserve opacity” on the layer I’d like to colour
When that’s selected, you can colour the line all you want
For my comics, I like to put an extra layer on top and “clip” it, then go over on the clipped layer with the airbrush, or another soft brush.

Turns out you can slap a clipping group onto a whole layer set in SAI.
Everyone knew that, right? And the “minus” brush thing for which I will always choose SAI over Photoshop? And Marker, ooh how I love Marker, the chaotic shading I do with it...

Is the 'clipping group' in SAI the same as 'clipping'? If not, can I make a substitute?
I have no idea, I've never used SAI
