Still Seeking Your Support as The Summit Nears!

We’re less than a day away from the leap of a lifetime and if you can spare a dollar or more I would gladly accept your help.

My training mission over the past month has been to get control of my fear of heights and get into better shape after I committed to go “Over the Edge” for Girl Scouts River Valleys on June 9.

It’s a key important number because on that date I plan to rappel 9 stories down the side of the US Bank Building in downtown Rochester.

I am getting so close to raising enough donations. Remember, the dollars will go to Girl Scouts River Valleys‘ Camp Edith Mayo and program center in the Rochester area.

Training Hard As a Big Deadline Nears

Thanks to my good friends at Roca Climbing & Fitness Danny Danger Joe will be ready to go “Over the Edge” on Thursday, June 9.

As you’ll see in this video, I wasn’t so sure about rappelling 3 stories down Roca’s wall, but now I feel I am ready to go 9 stories down the side of the US Bank Building in downtown Rochester for Girl Scouts River Valleys.

A big thank you to Jeremy Schaar with Roca whose experience and encouragement were crucial to helping me get a handle on my fear.

With your help we will gather enough donations to reach the summit and help the girls. The dollars raised will go to Girl Scouts River Valleys‘ Camp Edith Mayo and program center in the Rochester area.
