yeah i also think kids today should be haunted by the spectre of nuclear winter while their parents fight in the kitchen every evening because the economy is toast & cost of living is steadily rising while they eat their microwaved frozen tv dinners in front of propaganda-heavy cable tv shows (the tv does the parenting for you! easy peasy. let the electronics indoctrinate your children into being good citizens of empire)

there’s still lead in all the gasoline and cigarette smoke in every public venue so they’ve grown up exposed to a constant stream of heavy metals in the air they breathe (not to mention what’s in the food they eat or their toys)

pictures of missing children on all the milk cartons are a constant reminder that they are not safe and if something happens to them almost nothing effective will ever be done to find them because nobody cares about children’s safety—just that they’re able to entertain themselves and stay out of the way

we need to go back to that simple life! make kids disposable again
