One of my favourite things to do, and something I never seem to have time to do, is playing with clay. Kneading and shaping a lump of clay is a magical process and also very relaxing and it always amazes me when a little figure starts emerging - usually not what I originally intended, but that's part of the magic! These little guys are made with paperclay and are drying in the sun. I decided to call this gem guardians, and for this design I choose pastel colors and opal wings and ears.
