seer of space?
Sure! I should mention that I will try to finish the classpect the day after it was asked, if only to prevent myself from losing my patience trying to churn them out every day Mage of Void after this
[ASPECT CHAT: Space]
Space is the aspect that governs over the rules of all of physical reality, and is strongly linked to creation. Having a Space player is necessary to win the game, as they bring the forge to their session and are required to breed the genesis frog which becomes the universe. By nature, Space players are practical and believe that people are responsible for their own fates. There is always something you can do. Right? Stuff like time travel, inevitability and karma, where you aren’t always able to be at fault for your own fate, don’t come as well as they might to a player of another aspect. As they tap into their abilities, Space players might gain the ability to alter (and alter through) with the characteristics of things in relation to the rules governing physical reality. (say that ten times fast)
[CLASS CHAT: Seer]
The Seer understands their aspect for the benefit of others and allows understanding through their aspect. What this means in-session is that the Seer is both the guide to the success of their aspect, as well as a wonderful analyst of their aspect where it exists. The quest of the Seer revolves around learning HOW to direct their aptitude for their aspect. In canon, each Seer suffers from an alarming tendency to be lead astray from the most important goals. If I had to guess what a Seer’s abilities were, I would guess that they would have the ability to comprehend the world by way of their aspect and envision their aspect in a way that can benefit the world around them.
Much of the time, the Seer acts kind of like a student of their aspect’s realm, enjoying learning about said aspect purely for the sake of learning. Unlike the Mage, this learning is typically focused on bettering others, or for the betterment of society.
Seer of Space
As one who understands the propagation of reality (and the laws that govern all of physical reality) for the benefit of others and allows understanding through the propagation of reality (and the laws that govern all of physical reality), they will likely have the ability to view any location in a given moment. (Obviously.) They may also be able to view the different stages that something has progressed through during it’s existence, depending on how literal Space’s association to reincarnation is. Their sight could be able to discern characteristics of an object in relation to the rules that govern physical reality with nothing more than a glance. All in all, a solid member of any party.
The role of the Seer of Space in-session is to guide the course of the present to the relative benefit to the majority. What this means is that they are meant to help manage their resources to the best of their natural ability, likely through advice. If we were feeling literal, their planet quest could include spacial awareness puzzles. (That is, we could say that if we weren’t perfectly aware of the fact that they would have to light the forge to trigger catastrophic planetary upheaval and breed the genesis frog.) It’s important to note they likely understand that they and their teammates may bear responsibility for much of what occurs to them, even in regards to timeline stuff. I could see some tension with all sorts of players, simply by this measure. Maybe they’ll disregard the timeline completely with this understanding? Maybe they wouldn’t know this at all. Maybe that’s a good thing, maybe it’s bad? It’s up to you.Â
