I don't remember signing up for Classmates.com. I'm sure I did as there was a period I would find out about a new thing and sign up for it.
I keep getting emails about stuff and while it's mostly noise I delete with other ads I just looked at the "someone looked at your profile" which is actually "we unlocked three of your profile visits" two were from people I don't know and one was a dude from homeroom
I think if it was a former friend I'd like investigate more and see if they were trying to contact me. (I don't Facebook anymore as it is awful.)
I think you have to pay to unlock more visits or something. lol that's so dumb.
Idk if homeroom guy is trying to contact but it's more likely the "hmm I haven't seen this person in [many] years I wonder what they look like now" and to that I say good luck I'm basically a cross between a feral cat and a cryptid, difficult to find photographic evidence on top of being reclusive and weird.
I think I'd also investigate if it were a former crush for science. (lol I don't think any crush was reciprocated, it would be just to see whatever the site wanted)

Repeatedly for the last several weeks they have told me thatĀ ā People have been stopping by!ā
Specifically:
ā You've had...6 visits since joining.ā
I just checked.Ā There were about 380 people in just my graduating high school class.
I joined Classmates.com in 2009.
It is 2023.
Thank you for making it clear exactly how many people donāt give a crap if Iām even alive Classmates.com.

Ā Iām sure many of you have heard of MyLife.com. This site used to be Classmates.com, Reunion.com, and Wink.com. It is an internet site that supposedly allows people to reconnect with those that theyāve lost contact with many years ago. A great idea, but itās too bad that itās being run as a web scam.

classmates.com is showing some serious marketing chops advertising on Tumblr. Iād say 99% of Tumblr users are too young to need that site, or theyāve heard of a new Internet trend known asĀ āsocial media.ā
