The diesel engines from the book "Stepney the Bluebell Engine" in the Model Era (1995-2002)

A few from the West Somerset Railway. Mostly taken back in the early to late 1990’s and featuring their diesel hydraulic fleet with the odd visiting loco. One of my favourite places to visit. A really good fleet and beautiful line. Sometimes they haven’t been very imaginative with allowing diesels apart from emergencies but pleasingly now seem quite positive.

D1072 Reading 11 Oct 1976 by Pete Piszczek Via Flickr: Western Glory at Reading shed. A Crewe built Western, delivered during November 1963, she only has about three weeks left till withdrawal. She will be stricken, in working order, on November 2, 1976.

A Class 52 at Exeter St. Davids, as part of British Rail's Intercity services
