The first 'Hymek' (D)7000 has just arrived at Bristol Temple Meads on a service from Portsmouth Harbour. Date unknown but it would have been about 1968. It has been uncoupled from its train in preparation to going on shed. by Michael J. COLLINS
One of my faves.
A few from the West Somerset Railway. Mostly taken back in the early to late 1990βs and featuring their diesel hydraulic fleet with the odd visiting loco. One of my favourite places to visit. A really good fleet and beautiful line. Sometimes they havenβt been very imaginative with allowing diesels apart from emergencies but pleasingly now seem quite positive.
