Clara/Rose + netflix marathon?
((This is entirely inspired by the fact that I’m watching The Miss Fisher episode with the gay couple))
“Can they actually arrest blokes for being gay?” Rose asked as she popped a piece of popcorn in her mouth.
“I mean, they wouldn’t actually say it,” Clara said. “But yeah, they’d absolutely arrest them for sodomy. Obvious crusade on homosexuals, it’d be one-hundred percent legal now. But back then it was kind anything goes.”
“Blimey. The twenties sound awful.”
“The outfits were amazing though. I could pull of feathers, don’t you think?” Clara grinned, throwing her hair over her shoulder and striking a pose. Rose giggled, dragging her forward for a kiss.
“You look good in anythin’, love.” She paused for a moment before adding with a wolfish smirk, “and best of all in nothin’.”
“Oh don’t give me that look,” Clara said, laughing. “I wanna finish this episode, I don’t think Charlie did it.”
“Really? I do. He has a good motive.”
“It’s too obvious.”
“The wife in the first episode was too obvious too but she did it.”
“Well I don’t think Charlie’s guilty. It doesn’t sound right to me.”
Rose raised an eyebrow. “You wanna make a bet on that?”
Clara grinned back. “Usual wager?”
“Absolutely.”
