"Steven, it's time to get up." Time to get up at the ass crack of dawn to climb up the wrong side of a cliff and dive into a waterfall, more like. Have fun training, rock nerd. And, yes, pokemon are only allowed to join but not interfere unless someone's about to die. Maybe.
A normal trainer would think that someone like Steven would be getting used to getting up way before the sun would peer across the horizon. Being the adventurous-type person that he is, it shouldn’t be too hard, right?
Well, it wouldn’t be that bad if it wasn’t for the fact that mostly everyone had been keeping him away from his morning coffee. The affects of withdrawing from such an essential part of Steven’s morning made him… well, a little more crankier than usual.
“Five more minutes.” He said curtly, rolling onto his side, shoving his head into the pillow as he grumbled. The lack of caffeine in his bloodstream made his head pound, although even through all of this, he wasn’t not going to acknowledge Clair, who was still at his side.
A deep sigh, his hand reaches out and grazes Clair’s arm. Then, gently, his fingers trail down until they graze her knuckles, over her fingers, until his hand finally grasps her own.
“Can we have five more minutes?”
