SO WE GOT CLADIO AND GARSHA FOR MY MAGES ATM. Well ones that still need some work that is, bc I also have Odalia, but she's not important atm.
So I'm thinking Garsha and Cladio are about the same age, probably even went to the same school. When I say that I mean they went to some mage/witch/wizard school. They aren't exactly common so they aren't just everywhere.
However it's a different kind of "magic" school. Because both of them use forbidden magic, which obviously isn't allowed in the normal "magic" school.
Now we know that Cladio finds Maria and goes after her. He has a bit of a different method of killing the supernatural, aka seducing them and slowly poisoning them.
Meanwhile Garsha just wants to go straight for the kill, and and some anger issues, meaning he makes quite a few slip ups if things aren't going his way, which has happened more than once with Nicoleta.
Now with the idea that they have longer lifespans, this works out better. He's an incredible hunter, and even if it takes a few days, or even up to a week to track someone down after he lost them, he's always been able to kill his target, except Nicoleta.
She gets away every time, BUT he also gets away so she can't kill him either. Nicoleta won't go after him.
Now Nicoleta has a rule that Maria can't bring anyone back to the house, even if they are a normal human, no one is to know where they live because there is a chance they could figure out what they are, and she isn't dealing with that.
Well when Maria meets Cladio, she keeps to this. She's never broken that rule. But Cladio ends up following her back home. So a few days later there is a knock at the door. Occasionally door to door sales people will knock on the door, so it's not incredibly uncommon, so Nicoleta answers the door to just politely decline.
But it's Cladio and he's asking to see Maria. Nicoleta just tells him that no one by that names lives here. But it's evening, meaning Maria is awake and in the main room, which Cladio can see from the door.
Nicoleta tells him to give her one moment and closes the door and is whisper-yelling at Maria, even though she swears she didn't show him the house. They walked in different directions blocks away from the house.
Nicoleta is just really suspicious at this point, but she doesn't do anything and Maria goes out with him.
But then when Cladio tries to kill Maria, she never hears the end of it from Nicoleta. Because now they have to leave. Maria has basically only lived there, and Nicoleta moved in in the 1500's.
They have another place to live that Radu owns, which means they have to leave Italy altogether. Maria can't stop apologizing, and swears that he must have followed her back home. She knows Nicoleta can hold a grudge, and she wasn't about to have Nicoleta push her out of her life.
Now Garsha just does some fucked up experiments. He's the one who figured out about the different frequencies. Instead of just killing vampire, he will sedate them and take them back to his lab and do different things. Same with werewolves, harpies, elves, basically anything that isn't human.
Lowkey a mad scientist, but also one hell of a hunter.
