Unlocking the front door, Anna held it open wide for Hans to enter first, mostly thinking about how they needed to get that baby girl out of the cold before anything else. The lights were still on and heat was flowing through the ducts despite the fact that nearly every other home and business around them seemed to be out of power. âWe have backup generators,â she explained as she followed behind him and slid around to start heading out of the foyer and into one of the living rooms, waving for him to follow along. âYou two can stay here as long as you need. Until the snow stops or slows down and itâs safe enough to go back out.â Up until this moment Anna hadnât thought too hard on the sudden blizzard or where it could have come from, but once she stopped at the entrance of the living room to see Elsa pacing across the room, realization dawned on her. Her magic! Elsa could stop this! âElsa!â she calls out excitedly, rushing forward to her sister. âWhy havenât you stopped the storm yet?â Itâs a question said without any thought, though luckily vague enough that it doesnât give too much away - for it was as soon as the words were out of her mouth that Anna remembered the other person standing in the room with them. âOh⊠uhhâŠâ she starts, coming up with some excuse off the top of her head as she looks over at Hans then back at her sister. âBecause you know - you know so much about weather patternsâŠ.. I didnât mean why havenât you stopped it, thatâs wrong wording. I meant why didnât you warn me? Or uhh⊠yeah.â @hansoftheislesâ / @elsarendelleâ
