"I get it then. Exactly what life is. It is nothing. We are here and then we are gone. And all the drama we get into, the passions we fall in and out of, the friendships we make and break, they are supposed to impart significance. But there is no significance. Life is lovely, awful, and fleeting. The only power we truly have is how we choose to face it." --City of Beasts (written by Corrie Wang)
Okay soooo I had just finished this book and it's really good in my opinion. It is literally telling a story of how both genders separate until a girls mother gets pregnant and has a boy. The girl loves her little brother so much, and it tells a heartfelt and adventurous story of the challenges she faced and went through to find her younger sibling. During her adventure, she has also met many different "Beasts" and realized not all of them are beasts. I thought it was really cool, it also had in sci-fi, a bit of romance, suspense, definitely action, a quite a bit of twists and turns. So much backstabbing and plot twists. If it interests you, I highly recommend it!
