Umm just a question what is a cis-het-men cause I see that a lot around blogs and idk what it means and google don’t help (don’t have to answer 👍🏻)
I’m gonna answer this once just for the explanation for those who don’t know.
There are just some type of men to fetishize the wlw community and look at it like it's porn. Which might I clarify that it’s not, not at all. Cis-Het is the people who identify to the the gender they were born with.
And keep in mind that I don’t hate men, I just hate different types of them. I know some who are actually decent which is nice but some are just really shitty, disrespectful and rude, so I don’t want them in my space, just to avoid the unnecessary conflict and self problems.
Tuesday evening was our first prenatal group at the midwives collective. I was a little nervous. Justess was extremely anxious. It ended up going really quite well though. Especially since it was 5 cis straight white rich married couples having their first babies, and us. Justess was the only attendee who already has children. The topic was nutrition which, to be honest, I didn't find super helpful or informative. Not really any info I didn't already know besides perhaps some specifics about how beneficial omega 3s are. But everyone was very friendly and nice, we got our private baby check and Justess finally got to hear the baby's heartbeat. There was one person with worse nausea than I have, who still was having trouble gaining weight. No one else had nausea. One person had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 12 weeks. She was very clearly mourning the foods she was missing, particularly lasagna. =P I do not envy that one bit. Ultimately I'm looking forward to the coming sessions which will go into more interesting and useful topics. And I'm glad Justess hasn't been scared off from ever attending with me again. <3
lol more aro-ace hate, fan-fucking-tastic
i'm going offline for the day, i've got too much other shit to worry about besides people i thought were my friends shit talking my fucking orientation
if you want my attention, @me or send an ask
What's your opinion on the term "cishet"? I'm not entirely sure what it implies, but being cis it feels unnecessarily aggressive. Wouldn't just "cis" suffice? I make no judgements of course, I'm honestly trying to learn what it implies and if this should bother me.
"Cis-het" is just a generalization of the non-oppressed group of cis-gender, heterosexual people. I do feel that some people use it in a negative way, assuming that cis-gender, heterosexual people have very little concern for LGBT issues. I am non-binary trans-gender (I don't identify as my sex at birth, but don't identify as the opposite one either), however I have no qualms with cis-gender people or heterosexual people. While it's true that cis-hets ARE usually the only people who discriminate and dehumanize LGBT people, the vast majority of them are not to blame for the oppression. There's nothing wrong with being cis-gender, heterosexual, or both. This group is just given a lot of privilege over the rest of the LGBTQIAP+ community.

My way of gauging how "understanding" someone is of trans issues
I identify as a lesbian. Whenever I see a transwoman I find attractive or am interested in, I will usually tell my friends.
If any of them say anything along the lines of "But I thought you liked women!" then I have my answer
