Well, that was gratifying
I was chatting with one of the guys in straps class (young, ex-gymnast, mad strong) about the hassles of getting into popular classes, and I mentioned offhand that I sign up a month in advance because it's just too much of a hassle to deal with planning a sitter for my son at the last minute and he did a double take...
Him: Wait, what? Â You're a mom?
Me: Uh, yeah.
Him: Whoa... you're in really amazing shape for a mom!
Me: (flabbergasted because I am quite literally the least fit person in that class) Thank you!
.
.
.
Then I looked around and I was like... "You know, Christina is warming up for class with her sons right now, and Chloe, on trapeze over there, is a mom too." And Jeff piped up "Yeah, man, there's like a ton of moms around here." Â
Which is totally true and it's part of why I love Cirque School to death. Â
This is my first solo trapeze performance from my circus school's recital. It was fun and scary to be performing by myself.Â
