Panorama des rives du Nil (Panorama of the Banks of the Nile) is film number 386 in the Lumière Catalog. It is a tracking shot made by Alexandre Promio aboard a boat on the Nile. Alexandre Promio was the first to use, indeed to invent, the tracking shot when he filmed the Grand Canal from a gondola in Venice.
