American troops inspect a captured Japanese 8-barrel machine gun near Manila, Philippines, on March 18 1945.
M249 SAW
An M249 SAW done by team artist @qsycomplainsalot for the firearm section of Eureka: Investigative Urban Fantasy, serving as a visual example of a “Machine Gun.”
If your investigators are lucky, you will basically never see one of these in play, but we statted it anyway for good measure. A machine gun like this can fire up to 15 shots in a single Action, and in Eureka that means 15 separate attack rolls, only 1 of which needs to hit to incapacitate most human-scale characters, and all of which will have Stopping Power (making the resulting Injury rolls much worse), and this gun would have a virtually bottomless supply of ammo for the scale of the kind of gun fights Eureka is meant to emulate.
