Dear Momtaku, I want to discuss Willy's Hammer titan identity with you. I don't understand why some people believe that Willy is not the hammer titan, and I don't think Willy will die here. Yet there is always hypothesis that the woman in black or the tall royal soldier is the hammer titan. What do you think?
The strongest evidence that Willy is NOT the War Hammer is this:Ā Magath fears for Willyās life.Ā
If Willy were a powerful titan shifter, Magath would know that Willy would be able to regenerate and defend himself during an attack. Instead Magath tells Willy, āIf you go ahead with this, you will die.ā
I just took a peek at this monthās chapter poll. So far 72% believe someone other than Willy is the War Hammer Titan. I agree.Ā
As far as the true identity of the War Hammer, since the tall body guard and the woman in black are clearly visible just off stage, they are as good a guess as any. Willy is was the head of the Tyber family. As such, it makes sense that the War Hammer would be nearby to protect him

Hmm, I like the idea of the two of them interacting! (Maybe along with Armin?) Theyāre theĀ āsmart/wiseā characters, so itās possible theyād have a lot to talk about. Even though I see Pieck as a different kind ofĀ āintelligenceā as Hange, I think their conversations would be interesting.Ā
(Pieck I see as having a good memory, being in general very observant and split-second clever. Hange I see as more the scientist type, pouring over books eager to learn more. Together theyād make one hell of a research team, tbh.)

Hi Julystorms! I wonder how you view Hange's gender. It seems that she chooses neutral gender despite being biologically female. What is your opinion on her choice? Do you think there is a story behind it?
Hi! I view Hange as a female who was born biologically female. The only person who has mentioned gender with regards to the canon is Isayama, and what he said was that the genders of the characters (IIRC, he used Hange and Armin as examples) was up to the reader to interpret. So no matter what gender you view the characters as preferring, you are correct in your assumption.
Personally I feel that he said it just to be funny, but taking it more seriously... I like what he says because it leaves things open to interpretation for the readers, which means we can view Hange, for instance, as anything we want (which allows us to unofficially be represented, or see representation, in our own media experience).
