So the power just went out at my house but came back on literally not even a minute later. This would be all fine and dandy except that now I have become aware of a small personal choice problem. My best friend happened to be sitting next to me when the power went out and when it did my first thought was "well, guess I have to sacrifice Brynn to the gods." Now this is a problem because, as Brynn has so kindly pointed out to me, most people's first reaction would be to get a flashlight, call the police, or even just wait for the power to come back on. My first reaction to such incidents, however, seems to be 'who can I sacrifice?' Not that I'm complaining, but I can see how this might become a problem later in life.
