Here is my final video. I’m pretty happy with the overall outcome of the video seeing as I had to teach myself how to record in game by using the steam’s engine, as well as learning how to edit in a totally different piece of software.
The main problem I had was uploading the video in full resolution to YouTube, it took a while, but its finally done.

To give the sense of a presentation, I used a soft and somewhat dramatical copyright free piece to be played in the background of my final video. I feel that this has a greater effect on the viewer.
I had a bit of spare time on my hands so I went around in PS and played around with creating improved banners for the players. Gives it a more professional look in terms of presentation.
I’ve decided to use fade ins and fade outs at the conclusion of my clips. Using this feature, it ends each of the scenes smoothly and it transitions over into the next quite nicely.

Re-Filming
Update: throughout the creative process I found that the angles that I had for the video weren’t as good as what I would have hoped for. So I’ve decided to re-film the angles and adding in some pans that would benefit the overall visual and flow of the video. Some establishing shots would go nicely with this too.
A handy tool that I thought would be great for my video was the application of the plug-in called Twixtor. This plug-in allows the user to create smooth, slow motion transitions which gives a create effect in high action videos. Seeing as the project could only go for 1 minute, this would jeopardise the content/amount of clips used as it drags out an initial clip over time. I decided not to use the plug-in for this very reason.
I had a bit of trouble downloading just the audio from the commentators from the clips that I was using. Downloading just the audio and then importing it into Sony Vegas would make the entire program crash. To rectify this problem I had to go to the matches where I wanted the audio from the ‘shoutcasters’, and download the segment with the video. I then imported the file, ungrouped and deleted the unwanted video leaving me with just the audio that I needed. This was the only way to get around this problem without crashing the software.
