How I feel about this character

I LOVE HIM. SO SO MUCH. PRECIOUS TOO GOOD FOR THIS WORLD CINNAMON ROLL. He could hug me to death and I wouldn't mind.

I ship him with Kara pretty hardcore. Whether they're romantic or platonic parents to Alice, I love them together. I also low-key ship him with Kara and Rose. I also really enjoyed the whole 2 fanarts and 1 fanfic of Luther/Markus that I've seen. Cute af. Best boys being best boyfriends.

Non-romantic OTP for this character

Let him and Adam be friends!!!! Also I cannot get a Luther & Connor friendship out of my mind thanks to this post.

My unpopular opinion about this character

HE SHOULD BE ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR CHARACTERS BUT HARDLY ANYONE GIVES HIM LOVE. Even I don't give him as much love as he deserves.

One thing I wish happened/had happened in canon with the character

I wish he'd been in on the hug once he, Kara and Alice all got through the Canadian border. He just stands there and watches! Get in there big guy!!! Also, I wish Alice got to call him dad at least once in the game :'(

How I feel about this character

Hmmmm, Simon's a difficult one because my feelings on him vary quite a lot. Let me just preface this by saying I don't dislike Simon, at all. But you know when you start to associate a character with a certain group of people and it's starts to impact your view of said character? Simon cops this a lot from me. So, I like Simon but certain portions of his fans make me not want to sometimes. Does that make me weak-willed? Maybe 🤷🏻‍♀️

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Mainly just Josh. I think it's pretty cute that he's wearing a Detroit University sweater, as I covered in an ask just recently, and I know it's not inherently romantic but I'm a shipper at heart. Plus the height difference! Cute.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I said Jericrew for Josh but I'm going to say Jericrew for Simon too. Just let them be actual friends please I beg.

My unpopular opinion about this character

It's less of a popular opinion and more of a fact that gets blatantly ignored but Simon is not a pacifist!! Please stop referring to him as such. Because not only are you erasing Josh by doing this, but you're totally missing one of the more interesting things about Simon. He will sacrifice himself, he will run, he will hide, he will fight and he will even kill for his people, if it means they will be safe, even if that safety is not long-term or tenable.

Look, I never used to ship this but I fell and I fell HARD. I think they're actually really amazing for each other. Markus needs someone who's not afraid to speak their mind around him, especially when most people have a tendency to just do what he says. And North needs someone who's going to be gentle, patient and most of all, kind, towards her. They've both been deeply damaged by the things they've been through, which is also why I think they're relationship would also work the best after the events of the game, not during. Let these poor androids heal GDI
