“If anyone ever asks me what’s the most humbling experience that will definitely help you stay grounded, I’ll from now on tell them it’s getting beaten by a pre-teen at Basketball.” Nate laughed as they walked back inside the Bass’ residence, lifting his water bottle to his mouth and taking a sip of it. “How did your son manage to shoot more hoops than we did? He’s only like half our size at this point.” @chuckbbass​

One thing that certainly didn’t happen as often as he’d like with how busy both of their schedules were these days was quality time spent with his best friend. Something he was eager to change when he arrived and saw Chuck at the party, getting them both a glass of whiskey on his way over to him, which he handed to him right away. “Hey, man.” Nate grinned. “I hope one of your 2022 resolutions includes getting drunk with your oldest friend.” He joked, pretty sure that Chuck didn’t really give a damn about resolutions in general but that obviously wasn’t the point. @chuckbbass​

“So since you’re going to be a dad of two soon, does that mean we should have another Lost Weekend before another mini version of you and Blair demands most of your time? We did do it when Blair was pregnant the first time, I feel like it should be a tradition.” @chuckbbass​
