How does the Chuck pilot opening scene always end up wiping my memory of it by the end??? 😅 Every time I'm like, Oh, I'll put it on for reference -- "I... work for the Nerd Herd..." "That's so cute! Ahahah, what do you REALLY wanna do." "Workin on my 5-year plan, just need to choose a font." "You went to Stanford?!" "Y-yes, that is technically correct." "Oh my god! I graduated in '02! Lemme ramble about how all this stuff to remind you what a LOSER you are!" [long winded story about people they don't know: ex-gf & ex-friend] "So there I was... me on a train home..." ...fantastic. 🙃 Maybe my subconscious wanted it for just that reason cuz just yesterday got wrung through it again. "Oh that's nice! You're from Philly?" "N-no, actually- Just, lived there for 10 years." "Why?" "Actually started college there, in 2006." "Where'd you go?" "The Art Institute?" "There's one there?" "Well, there used to be. Now it's a Uniqlo & Old Navy..." [long winded story about people they don't know: now-husband & Dept of Education lawsuit against The Art Institutes] "So, moved back home & started here." How many times have I been through that script 😭
