People Keep Forgettin' the 80's brought it hard, and all the 90's could do was sample it.

I have long loved Michael McDonald and by extension The Doobie Brothers.

I was laughing at the start of each of these reactions when they all realized that the song "Regulators" (1994) by Warren G and Nat Dogg was based on a sampling of "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)" (1982). And, most don't know that "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near)" took hard inspiration from "I Keep Forgettin" by Chuck Jackson form 1962.

I love music it connects us to places, times and people we have never known. I think my parents for giving me the love of so many different types of music.

I still dislike classical music mom. I never could get into that long haired music.
