Splatoon Zombie concept by @chubbidust . Inspired by a few of my characters.
1: Capacitor
-Class: Special
-Rarity: Very rare
-Aggressiveness: Passive unless provoked.
-Physical Description: Spikes made of hardened ink that occasionally spark.
may occasionally have what look to be zapfish whiskers instead. Eyes pulsate with
electrical energy. Webbed hands and feet are also a feature. nearby ground is sometimes
singed, or may have deposits of Fulgurite nearby
-Personality Description: When near any electrical source, the virus at first
gives them anxiety, then crackling sounds that they can hear, before trying to find
an isolated spot. If they are isolated enough, they generate a large bolt of lightning that can
sometimes shoot up into nearby clouds or buildings.
If contained, they will panic, rambling that they "need to be alone" or
something similar. If there's no nearby metal, their anxiety keeps building till
a bolt strong enough to go through several inches of concrete is
produced at anything metal, even rebar.
It is initially passive, though aware of their territory. If one were to enter it,
they will hear a slowly rising crackling sound as the Capacitor gets more irritated. Depending
on the personality, they will either never attack when you're in their area, or
instantly attack.
-Attacks:
-Can run at an insane speed, enough to appear as a blur. they can tackle anyone in the way.
-Can electrocute anyone by touch or bite. This is negated when wearing metal armor or chain-mail
-Can shoot a bolt of lightning at anyone that has caused it to be aggressive.
-If spooked, it may summon a large bolt of lightning randomly, occasionally hitting the spooker.
-Weaknesses:
-They usually don't chase after aggressors, but it is still not a good idea to taunt it to run at you.
-They don't feed on fresh flesh very often, usually anything goes.
-Wear full metal armor to negate the electricity.
-Other info:
-They can be contained in a Faraday cage with little issue.
-If a loved one is nearby, they are aware enough to not attack them, and may even protect them.
 -if the love one has turned, they will be indifferent.
-The cure, while it is effective, doesn't remove the spikes nor whiskers. The former
 will fall off on it's own, but the whiskers must be removed by some sort of tweasers.
-While they are considered a very rare special zombie, they are much more likely to be found in open areas.
-When they discharge, their anxiety lessens, and they are less aggressive. they may forgive you even.
2: Drowner
-Class: standard
-Rarity: Rare
-Aggressiveness: Very aggressive.
-Physical description: Their legs have fused into a tail with rubbery skin. their feet and hands become flippers
and are clawed. They have developed gills which lets them breathe underwater. Their skin is more oily, akin
to a salmonoid, but without the scales. When on land, they crawl at first, before attempting to stand up and run.
-Personality description: When an inkling or octoling develop a resistance to water, they may become the Drowner.
They are pack hunters, and hunt down anything near the shore or in the water. If they come near the shore they may
pretend to play dead, before pouncing on their prey, dragging them to their aquatic grave. They retain their
consciousness, but the virus's effect drives them feral.
-Attacks:
-Will stalk anyone near the shore, and attempt to launch themselves at their prey, mouth agape.
-If it misses, it will crawl at first, trying to knock the prey off their feet. before grabbing them and retreating
into the water.
-If they manage to get a good enough distance, the drowner can sprint at them akin to a generic zombie, still
trying to drown them.
-If you do go into the water, not knowing there's a drowner, they will quickly swim up to you and drag you under.
-However, if you are diving, they will sneak up behind you and attack quickly. do not go in Drowner infested waters.
-Weaknesses:
-while they can come on land, and they can sprint quickly, they can't run long distances without tripping, so they
will give up if their prey is too far.
-Though can can see very well in water, they can't see much above it, so they can't tell if there's a wire or rope.
-If you are at least 10 feet above infested waters, they can see you, but can't do anything about it.
-Other info:
-If cured, the skin that joins the legs will be weak enough to rip off, though it will be painful.
 -There are rare cases where this doesn't work, and it has to be removed via surgery.
 -The gills are permanent, and functional, however.
-You can "tame" one by feeding it fish, salmon eggs, or golden eggs. It will not attack you, and may follow you.
 -Reports say that after a long enough time, Drowners overcome their feral state, but will still be infected.
 -When cured at this point their legs are garenteed to stay fussed.
-There are cases where they can enter salmonoid infested waters. it isn't too common, but when they do, it becomes
a bloodbath.
