It’s been implied that Chrysta the fairy will return for Sofia the First: Royal Magic by creator Craig Gerber.
That feminine urge to walk around in a cave that's also the ruins of a hotel with your four mates while wearing one of these gowns like a sweet little vampire housewife who spends her time getting the little nest all nice and pretty, dusting cobwebs, lighting candles and fires, sweeping off dust on the fountain, cleaning up blood and such stained on clothes and fabrics.
Or answering the door at a home to some random person who decided to give the doorbell a ring at the wrong time and I'd answer the door all oblivious and elegant, inviting them in for a bite.

One of my favorite poses from Sofia the First.
Chrysta grew on me throughout season 4 but initially I was wondering “Why is she so mean to Sofia? Can't she tell she's being too hard on her?” I feel that in “Undercover Fairies” her instinctual meanness was perfectly explained. She's emotionally immature and although she may not say it or realize it, she sees herself, Sofia, and all the other little children she interacts with as equals. She was trying to seem tough to a prissy princess because girls with prissy princess attitudes intimidate her. However, when Sofia proved herself to be a sweet girl, Chrysta relaxed around her instead of going down the route of feeling like she needs to prove herself to Sofia.
But in that aforementioned episode we do get to see that side of Chrysta. She gets all flustered around a bunch of little girls and is determined to be their friend without any discomfort about the age gap between them. She showed she's willing to lose herself for approval from very young peers and she seemed genuinely happy as they played with her. She wears her neglect on her sleeve akin to how Cedric does -- in my eyes at least. I don't believe that she's predatory though because she seems like the type to set explicit boundaries and she doesn't seem to reciprocate any sort of affection outside of words. She just seems so stunted that she could only feel understood by small children, especially small girls. I think it's sad but also sweet in a way. She could only benefit from trying to relive her childhood.
Now, the big reason I don't see her as predatory is NOT because she's a woman. It's because she's written without any mannerisms both physical and vocal that scream predator to me. She just seems very childish, which is never predatory on its own. Cedric on the other hand, is emotionally immature, childish, aggressive, violent, and self centered. A sensitive someone who spent YEARS thinking about only serving himself would only be happy having a partner who'll love him through a non-judgemental and easily corruptible lens. Chrysta puts others first to cope. They are similar but not the same. I enjoy both of their characters so much.

Chrysta: You're growing stronger. Sofia: (smiles at the rare compliment) Chrysta: You might not want to look quite so pleased about that. We grow stronger, the world grows more dangerous. Life has a funny way of keeping things balanced. Sofia: Chrysta, do you ever say anything encouraging? Chrysta: (dumbfounded) ... Chrysta: I encourage you not to die.
