93:Top 3 embarrassing moments 1) My 7th grade lit teacher letting me get through an entire book report presentation on a book saying the title of a main character wrong (it was Colonel) and telling me in front of the whole class AT THE END that I had been pronouncing it wrong 2) This one time I wore a new dress to a social dance and didn’t know how floaty it was and hadn’t gotten in the habit of wearing shorts under them yet. One of my partners was showing off my ballet spot and spinning me a lot and it kept making my dress go up and I kept trying to tell him to stop and he’s kind of a douche anyways so he thought stop meant to it more so I had to grab him by the front of his shirt and tell him that he was making my dress fly up and I was super uncomfortable and that he needed to stop and he got all flustered and weird all night 3) When I was going through that really dark period of cleft stuff and high school angst one of my friends (who was significantly older than me and I kind of put him on a pedestal because he was an older dude who wanted to talk to me and be my friend) did this thing he called Anon Admirer and sent me really nice things and made it seem like this Admirer had a crush on me and the messages sounded like freakin poetry or something and I got kind of excited trying to figure out who it was and if they really thought I was that great or liked me or whatever. And I would talk to this guy trying to figure out who the Anon Admirer was and he would try to help me figure out clues and narrow down who in our internet friend group it could be and a bunch of friends got involved trying to solve the mystery and I was sure it wasn’t him because I specifically told him that I knew it wasn’t him because he didn’t feel that way about me and wouldn’t make up stuff and let me believe someone liked me when they didn’t and that he wouldn’t ever do that to me. He knew it would really hurt my feelings if it was fake and he would never do that to me. But it turned out to be him and he was testing me to see if I could figure it out like a real Ravenclaw or whatever and I couldn’t. I failed his stupid test and I was really embarrassed that I fell for it and got all excited about someone feeling that way about me and he let it go on for so long. I told a friend at school about it and she tried to get me to see how shitty that was of him to do when I was significantly younger and in a really bad place but I kept defending him. When it all came out I like cried in the bathroom at school because it WAS a shitty thing to do. Then I had to tell all my friends that I didn’t actually have an admirer or whatever it was just my friend feeling bad for me and creating a fake crush to make me feel like someone liked me.
