Being a pagan / witchy person who is also chronically I'll is so weird sometimes. I'll just be sittin there with some kind of hot beverage and then remember "huh I haven't prayed / blessed on a while" and then just do it there right quick

Do any other disabled people have that weirdly specific experience where you try to take care of your basic needs but your body physically won't let you, and then other people get mad at you for "neglecting your health" despite the fact that you are trying to take care of yourself and you're just as annoyed as they are?
Like when I'm hungry, I do go to make food, but I feel so nauseous that I physically can't eat all of it. When I'm thirsty, I do go get a drink, but I can't stomach that either. When I'm exhausted, I do lie down for a nap, but my body won't actually sleep no matter what I do. That kind of thing.
I'm so tired of trying to explain this to able bodied and neurotypical people. Like I want my needs met more than anyone, but I can't control what my body is doing right now! Is there a word for this? Am I going insane?
Coping with deteriorating health
How do you guys cope/deal with having a condition that keeps getting worse, or when there's nothing they can do? Like anything that makes it a bit easier like blogs, YouTube, life hacks, advice, products etc Doesn't really have to be chronic illness related, even if it's just a good movie or song or vine compilation or w/e
