I’m probably not gonna do every single one because it’s a lot, but I’ll pick and choose some that I have ideas for! I’m gonna just do these with Ysayle though

☾ - sleep headcanon: She dreams a lot of Shiva and the dravanians, always left to wonder if the dreams were just conjured up by her imagination or if they were echo visions of times long past.

☠ - angry/violent headcanon: I think at times she probably lets the conflict get to her, choosing to be particularly ruthless when torturing inquisitors specifically, letting herself justify it because the war is just an endless cycle of exacting revenge on one another and falling to a lower low.

♥ - family headcanon: Ysayle treats her fellow heretics as family, and I imagine they are very communal and almost tribal in how they live. Particularly after the calamity, they tend to rely on one another for warmth. The fire in a dragon’s belly serving to heat Ysayle and the others up as they all just cling to it and to each other for survival.

Augh, sorry this is like a million years late, finals are upon me like nobody’s business D: Ended up being pretty c2 heavy but that’s just bc I’m still working my way through 11) Beau: It took a while for her to grow on me, but then her abrasive exterior started cracking and i fell in love. She just feels so real in her emotions and how they play out, absolute kudos to Marisha for making such a beautifully complex character! im also a martial arts lesbian so there’s that too lol2) Jester: She’s determined to not let the world get her down, proof that you don’t have to let growing up take your sense of wonder away. Sweets and art and a strange lurking loneliness that comes from being so isolated as a child, even though she’s surrounded by people who care deeply for her. She may have been naive in the beginning, but I think she’s starting to understand her real place in the world. If there was anyone who i’d call the heart of the group, it would be her.3) Mollymauk: I have no excuses. Shiny tieflings are like candy to me. That aesthetic came up, slapped me in the face, and then I drew nothing but Molly for like. 2 straight weeks. One thing i love that a lot of people seem to forget is just how much of a dick he can be sometimes. Sure he’s charismatic and charming, but also extremely chaotic and 100% not above fucking with people just for the hell of it. I wish we’d gotten more time to explore his backstory, but I’m sure it’ll come up again eventually.

4) Percy: Once again Taliesin comes for my ass with the aesthetic. I love this character archetype, the one who’s on a path of violent self-destruction and knows it, and by the time they want to turn back it’s already too late. Somehow on both ends of the ‘refined-feral’ scale at the same time? Also lines up perfectly with my sense of humor the vast majority of the time.
